Any hope for a Linux Link? (Oculus Quest)
Title... overly optimistic I guess, just thought I'd ask / feature request anyway. I got an Oculus Quest, and had planned to eventually maybe get another VR from a "competing brand" that's more likely to run on Linux. Unless maybe if there's hope for the Quest on Linux. Anyway, I got a few VR titles on Steam and Oculus from having a DK2 and a Vive earlier, so it would be nice to be able to use some of those again and with a better quality (on the Quest).9.2KViews9likes5CommentsSupport SteamVR in Linux?
Hello, I got Oculus Quest2 two days ago. It works well in Windows 10 with USB cable connection to SteamVR, if I already installed Oculus Software/driver. I installed OpenVR or OpenHMD in Linux, but SteamVR can not detect Oculus Quest2. Because there is no official Oculus Software/driver for Linux. In theory, it is supposed to work in Linux like Windows 10 because of only adding new software, not hardware's issue. I know so far, Steam is largest plattform in Linux in the future. The question: When will support for Steam in Linux come? Or is there any other solution that is also possible?2.3KViews6likes0Comments
