Factory Reset fixed nothing
So I was having issues connecting to my Wi-Fi and I read from a past Wi-Fi issue that doing a Factory Reset will fix it. So I performed one and not only did it not fix my issues, I now can't finish the set-up because I still can't connect to my Wi-Fi. When I would try to connect it would say "saved/incorrect password or try again later" I retyped the password 7 times and rebooted my router twice. It doesn't help that when I was performing the V78 firmware update, my VR full on crashed but downloaded the update, and ever since then I've been having really dumb issues with my VR, like my store not loading and my microphone not being detected in calls, voice messages, and Speech to Text.23Views0likes1CommentNo light, No Charge, Not turning on
So two days ago, I playing vrc on my quest 2 with friends, then all of a sudden I crash (Which is normal on vrc), it seemed normal until I got into the oculus home and clicked on vrc. My whole sight was glitched and there was a lot of noises, and especially a noise to me that sounded like a tiny pop which after that turned off my headset. Now my headset doesn’t have a charging light, it won’t turn on, nor will it charge. I tried holding the power button along with the volume button. I changed cubes along with chargers and i’m still not seeing no light. Is there anything else I am not trying?? I’m a little bummed because I did make a lot of good friends on there that I won’t be able to see anymore. :(10Views0likes2CommentsCannot Make Purchases. Hello, New here to everything related to VR.. & the Oculus Quest 2. I recently purchased a Quest 2 from a co-worker. Thought it made more sense to buy it pew-owned than to purchase it brand new, since I was giving it as a gift to my daughter for Christmas. Well, the person I purchased it from never deleted their account off of the device. So, when I got it all set up (or so I thought)... I made an account for my daughter on the app. I then tried to link the headset to the account I had made, but every time I would try to pair the headset to the app, it would always come back with an error, saying it couldn't pair the device. So, we are on the original owners account, and since we were on the previous owners account when it turns on.... we figured out we could go into the account settings and "shared" the device with my daughters meta account, so she could play a some games, until we could figure out how to pair the device to her account..... I need help trying to get the original owners account information off of the Oculus, so we can set it up under our information so we are able to use the oculus to its full potential, b/c as of right now there is a limited things that we are able to do.I again am new to doing anything in regards Any help would be greatly appreciated. *single mom on the struggle bus, just trying to figure this out, so my daughter can play her new system to its maximum potential* PLEASE SOMEONE HELP MEEEE! or I am very certain my next reach out will be an SOS, due to the emotional roller-coaster of a typical pre-teen!! LMAO Thank you in advance!!Solved188KViews2likes34CommentsUSB stick with OTG Adapter on Oculus Quest 2
Hi Guys, I've recently bought an Oculus Quest 2 64 GB and currently trying to watch videos on my USB Stick via Big Screen and Pigasus VR Media Player on the headset. I've got an USB-C to USB 3.0 OTG adapter which I use to connect the USB stick to the headset. I've already formatted the filetype on my USB Stick to FAT32 as I'm aware that's the only USB filetype currently supported by Oculus Quest. When I connect the USB stick to the headset via the adapter, the headset recognizes that I've connected something as I hear a sound but then I'm unable to find the USB stick on any of the apps. I've tried following instructions on the Oculus support page which states that I should find 'Connect media' on Oculus Gallery but the app is no longer available on Quest 2. Are USB sticks supported on the Quest 2 or not? If yes, what are the instructions for accessing USB storage on the Quest 2? Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated as one of the reasons I got the headset was to watch 3D movies on the go as I thought the Quest headsets supported media playback via USB. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ThanksSolved75KViews3likes19CommentsMeta Quest 2 randomly delted all my Beat Saber Progress
I last played beat saber yesterday (July 11th, 2025). I turn on my Quest 2 today and ALL my progress is randomly gone. It was like I had never even launched the game as it was asking me what region I was in and asked me to try the tutorial. I looked to see if cloud backup was on and it was, but all my progress is gone. Is there anyway to fix this and restore all my beatsaber data?21Views0likes1CommentV78.1028 failed to install on Quest 3s

Problem: I accidentally set a password (e.g., "Meta Quest") using the hidden Android settings on my Meta Quest 3. After that, the headset asked for a PIN, not a password -- and there was no way to type letters. It looked like a factory reset was the only way out. Solution (No Factory Reset!): You can unlock your Quest and reset the passcode using the Meta Quest mobile app, even if the headset is stuck at the PIN screen. Step-by-Step: 1. Open the Meta Quest app on your phone (Android or iPhone). 2. Make sure the app is connected to your locked Quest headset. 3. Tap Menu > Devices > Headset Settings. 4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Passcode. 5. The app will prompt you to enter a PIN -- but it only shows a number pad, so you can't type your password here... yet. Workaround: 6. In another app on your phone (like Chrome, Notes, etc.), type your actual password -- for example: Meta Quest 7. Copy the password to your clipboard. 8. Go back to the Meta Quest app's PIN entry screen. 9. Paste your full password into the PIN textbox (yes, even though it shows a number pad). 10. Hit Enter -- your Quest will immediately unlock, and you can now set a proper 4-digit PIN. 100 percent working on Meta Quest 3. No factory reset needed. No debug mode. No PC. Just the Meta app plus this trick. Hope this helps others!32Views0likes0Comments
