Meta Quest 3 not capturing in game audio
When I'm recording a video it captures my voice but no in game audio. I've been trying to fix this for hours now. I've tried everything from completely rebooting the vr to checking all the settings making sure there correct and also checking for any updates. I really dont understand why its not working.
Allow option for internal speakers to work with headphones connected / 3.5mm / BT
Hello, Quest 3 feedback suggestion: Allow option for internal speakers to work with 3.5mm or bluetooth headphones connected. Reason: For devices such as the Woojer haptic feedback vests, straps or subwoofers, you cannot use the built in speakers due to connecting these either via the 3.5mm jack or bluetooth. Adding this as an option would not hurt anything, heck you could even add a pop-up to note that this setting has been changed and where to find it each time something is connected. Advantage: There would then be no need to use additional headphones when wearing a haptic vest, haptic strap or when using a subwoofer. Headphones can be cumbersome or not even possible to use with most VR headstraps. Many thanks for listening.
Quest 3 Controller Tracking Issues in fast paced games
Hi, I’ve been experiencing loss of tracking with my Quest 3 controllers which is problem that didn’t occur so often when I had the Quest 2. The controllers have not been damaged in anyway as they’re brand new. In attempt to resolve this, I’ve tried every solution I could find. Resetting boundaries and space unpairing and re-pairing the controllers restarting the headset new batteries revaluation of the environment around me (lighting conditions, etc…) check for any software updates set controller tracking frequency to 60Hz disabling space setup disabling hand tracking factory reset of the headset All these have been checked and attempted and still see no results that fix the issue. It’s frustrating because I’ve had no problem with this when I had the Quest 2 and performed better on Beat Saber. Whereas, because of this issue, my performance has significantly worsened. I read a forum from two years ago that this issue was resolved, however, this is something that is still occurring.
Error while making a purchase: Feature unavailable
I can't purchase anything on the Meta Store anymore. It used to work just fine. My last successful purchase was on January 11. But then it just stopped working and whenever I try to buy anything, I get an error message: "Feature unavailable Your request could not be completed. This feature is currently not available to you. Please try again later." I already contacted support and have an open case, but I've been having back and forth with them for a week now and nothing they do seems to help. It's the same on all devices: headset, phone, pc. The same with three different payment methods. No restarting, clearing cash, fresh logins, incognito mode, vpns. Nothing works. Support said they had made some changes to my account and now it should work, like three times. And to make sure changes apply to wait 24 hours. Again I did that and nothing helped. I found threads on reddit and here with the same issue, and nothing seems to work, and support couldn't help in any case. So, I've bought my meta headset in the store, and I can't just buy games anymore? What should I do?My Quest 2 just shows a dark screen when I turn it on
I woke up this morning to play vrfs and I saw my vr had a dark grey screen, so I rebooted it, then powered it off, nothing happened, I let the vr die then put it back on the charger and still nothing. I have been waiting all day and I want to play on my Quest 2. PLEASE help me with this!
Meta Link app not downloading after update
Do to the issues these past few days in the beginning turning on and off the internet worked for me, but as of yesterdays update I had more problems. I decided to click fix connection or repair I forget but then the whole app deleted itself because there was a failure during upload and now I'm in this infinite loop of the app never downloading because there is a problem. no matter how many times I restart my computer like it tells me too.
Quest 3 triggers not pressing buttons in menu
My quest 3 controllers work just fine when im entering in my passcode, but after it logs me in i then can no longer press anything wiht my controllers, they are still connected and track normally and i can see the trigger move on the in vr version of my controller so i know its not a problem with the physical trigger, but i no longer have the cursor the would appear on the menu when you point your controller at your menu, i also can no longer see the line that would appear in front of your controller for our cursor. I have tried all the following methods to attempt to fix it with no result: Factory resetting Unpairing and repairing controllers Replacing batteries Restarting headset Clearing boundary history Entering immersive mode and re entering passthrough Switching accounts Pressing with the end of the controller
