Link doesn't work at all after the new update
I wanted to play VR one day as i tried linking my meta quest 3s to the computer via cable but then it began to load for forever, tried via air link:same problem. But before the incident i had message on my PC app saying "Some functions of meta quest link may not work.." is there any solution?
Restore Desert Terrace for Quest 3, 3S, and Quest 2 (Heritage Update)
Dear Meta Product and Environment Teams, As a long-time user who has used the platform since Quest 2, I want to report to you that I now use Quest 3S but I need you to bring back Desert Terrace because I like your new hardware. The environment served as essential shelter for numerous users because the "Help and Tips" tutorial backdoor provided access to it until the most recent time. The system still maintains operational capabilities which enable use of this environment but developers need to create a formal connection to the Scenery menu. I propose a straightforward "Heritage Edition" update which needs you to increase the resolution to 4K so that it matches Quest 3 lens clarity. It would also look much cleaner and sharper on the Quest 3S and the Quest 2. I noticed that the environment contains an Oculus logo on a door, which you could replace with the Meta Infinity logo. I suggest this because I understand and respect that the brand has fully transitioned to Meta, and updating the logo would make this classic environment feel like a modern, official part of the current ecosystem. The community will benefit greatly from your restoration of desert wind sounds and classical view which you will combine with modern branding because this shows that Meta values what longtime users have brought to the platform. Using Quest 3S with Quest Pro Controllers
So, recently I had purchased a quest 3S. The headset is great and I've been having no problems with it aside for the fact that I can't seem to pair my quest pro controllers with it. When will the pro controllers become compatible with the 3S so I can stop using my Quest 2 to maximize the 150 dollar purchase I made on top of buying a new headset?
3S Black Screen
One day I got back to my house after school and as usual I was trying to get on my Meta Quest 3S to play Gorilla Tag but my VR showed a black screen. Initially I knew nothing was wrong and decided that it might have just been a glitch and tried restarting it, that didn't work so I decided to factory reset manually (Power and volume down buttons) this didn't do anything and left my screen black. I could hear sounds and see power off options such as the restart, power off and cancel buttons and could interact with them but they did nothing. This was four days ago on Friday 13 (crazy I know) and I don't know what to do, I have tried all basic maneuvers of trying to reboot, update (from the computer), let it die, factory reset, power off, restart, and nothing has seemed to work. When I tried updating the system both my Quest and the computer claims that the update completes and that everything went smoothly but nothing changes and the black screen remains. Whenever it is in the updating phase (plugged into my laptop and Quest) the LED on the left side is a purple/magenta color, which I've heard means the Quest needs an update. I just want to play gorilla tag again, could someone help me with my issue please? Thank you. -Sincerely, bruh.631173
Meta quest 3s stuck in usb update mode
hi good afternooon, irecnetly updated my son's meta quest 3s and during the update the device crashed and reset, this led to the device being corrupted and now stuck in usb update mode, out of all the options that are available nothing works about from device info, when ever i press factory reset or power off the device or boot device it just flashes screens and reloads the USB Update mode again, even when i plug it into my pc to use the update tool provided on your website, my pc isn't picking it up due to it being stuck iun this boot mode, is there anyway i can fix this issue my self??? i look forward to hearing from you BradApps Not Downloading
I am having a major issue where none of the apps or updates on my Quest 3S are installing. Every download just says Queued or Installing indefinitely and never completes. This is happening for both new app downloads and updates for apps I already have. Device: Meta Quest 3S Software Version: 83v Troubleshooting I’ve already tried: Restarting the headset multiple times. Turning Wi-Fi off and back on. Canceling and restarting the downloads. Checking for enough storage space Is there a known fix that doesn't require a factory reset? Thanks for the help!
