A strange white light came on while my Quest 3S was charging.
Hello, everyone! I have a question about my Meta Quest 3S. Tonight, I put my headset on charge because I noticed that the battery was low, but I also noticed that after a while, the charging indicator light changed from orange to white and the lenses activated. Not knowing what this meant, I got a little worried about the health of my headset, so please, can anyone give me some answers? Thank you! So, recently I had purchased a quest 3S. The headset is great and I've been having no problems with it aside for the fact that I can't seem to pair my quest pro controllers with it. I am having a major issue where none of the apps or updates on my Quest 3S are installing. Every download just says Queued or Installing indefinitely and never completes. This is happening for both new app downloads and updates for apps I already have. Device: Meta Quest 3S Software Version: 83v Troubleshooting I’ve already tried: Restarting the headset multiple times. Turning Wi-Fi off and back on. Canceling and restarting the downloads. Since the 22nd, my 3s keeps going black every time I turn it on. The meta os startup works but then after it just goes black and my controllers keep making beeping noises. On the 22nd, I kept having to find different solutions but next time I turn it on, it stops working again. As of today it just keeps going black OR saying finding position. I tried cleaning it, resetting it, rebooting it, and nothing works. Any ideas on how to fix it? (Note: I only got this back in April 2025, hasn't even been a year yet which is very disappointing.) Connected to Internet Connection on Meta Quest 3S but when I join a game it says 'Check your network and try again' When I join like animal company / gorrila tag it's failing to connect to a game. Can you fix this meta? How do I fix this? I don't want to Factory Reset. My Q3 was linking fine to my PC this afternoon, then literally an hour or two later, will not link. I'm using a usb 3.0 cable, it is in a USB 3 port, power management of USB port is set correctly. I get a notification saying 'Meta Quest Link isn't working correctly. Click here to check our support article'. There is no support article. I have restarted the headset and PC, repaired the Horizon app, logged out and back into the Horizon app, restarted the OVR service and I still can't get it to work. Anyone else having or had similar issues recently? Hi I found out you can connect LE-audio bluetooth earbuds to Meta Quest 3s. My problem is, it doesn't work at all. It connects but everything becomes super laggy and no audio at all when LE mode is enabled in bluetooth settings. I have Creative Zen Air Plus earbuds which supports LE audio when connecting to its' specific pairing name. When I do so, I can hear "LE connected... LE disconnected... LE connected... LE disconnected..." every couple seconds from the earbuds. Also everything on the Quest becomes like a 0.1fps slideshow until I disconnect the earbuds. When I connect the earbuds with normal bluetooth mode, everything works fine. Only problem is that games have 1-2s latency in audio. Videos (Youtube etc.) don't have delay because they sync with the audio. Is the bluetooth LE-audio mode still early experimental or is it supposed to work as intended already? Until it's resolved I can use wired earbuds with PD/audio usb-dongle. But then I lose smart funtionality of Elite battery strap. They charge the glasses fine but Quest settings doesn't tell how much there is charge left in the strap. Edit: I purchased EarFun Air Pro 4+ earbuds and they work flawlessly in LE-mode. Creative Zen Air Plus uses Mediatek chip which doesn't seem to be compatible. EarFun uses Snapdragon chip which works. At least that's the info I have been gathering from different sources. Hi, I have a problem with my Meta quest 3s. White or clear images (including writing) appear with glows on a black background. This also applies to the dashboard (with a white theme especially, but slightly scanned with the black theme) when I use the headset in a dark environment. When the logo appears I give an app that I start on a black screen has 'stripes' as if I had dirty glasses (I also wear glasses but they are quite clean, as well as the lenses of the headset) and it also happens to me with the light of any element of the game (same light bulbs). I'm undecided whether to make a return or keep it, because I don't know if it's a defect or it's right like this. I know that fresnel lenses have this factory defect but it seems more accentuated to me. When I activate the immersive house (very bright environment) the halos disappear. Several of my friends have tried to invite group members to their immersive home loft, but it is grayed out still. We can invite and/or go to any world, but not to our individual lofts. We have tried all troubleshooting found in help. Nothing works. Our friends used the old home invite all the time to hang in a private space with minimal environmental distractions. ALL of my friends are having this issue regardless of headset version (our group has Q2, Q3S, and Q3 headsets and all are running current OS). I purchased a Meta Quest 3s recently I am trying to get in contact with Meta support but I am stuck in the endless loop. The website is saying: We couldn’t find any devices associated with this Meta account And when I enter my serial number it says support is not available for this device. I am about ready to return the device because there is no way to get in touch with support. I even reached out on social media and have gotten no response.
