Meta Quest Webhooks for IAP - Documentation about the application order status event
Context: I would like to subscribe to webhook events to receive notifications whenever a user's subscription changes (ex: buying a subscription, canceling a subscription, changing the subscription date, etc.) Possible solution: According to the official documentation, it seems to be possible to subscribe to webhook events to receive real time notification whenever the Application object changes. The Application object seems to have 3 fields, join_intent, create_new_session and order_status. I think that subscribing to the order_status field would send events whenever a user's subscription would change. Problem: I can't find any documentation about the order_status field. Hi everyone, I am reopening this issue because it still happens in 2025. My Quest 3 loses all PC audio when using Link cable. Windows shows “Oculus Virtual Audio Device” and the audio meter moves, but there is no sound in the headset. Cable has been tested by the app and works at full speed. If I use the “Repair” option in the Meta/Oculus PC app, the audio works again. But after a few days, the problem returns and I have to run Repair again. This happens almost every week. This makes the headset annoying to use because repairing the app takes several minutes and should not be necessary for basic audio output. Why this is a problem: -Repairing the app every time: takes several minutes -closes services and restarts the PC app -sometimes resets parts of the configuration -shouldn’t be necessary for such a basic feature What I already checked: -Oculus Virtual Audio Device set as default in Windows -Volume and sound device settings are correct -Good USB 3 cable and port -Quest audio works fine in standalone mode -Windows 11 fully updated -Meta PC app fully updated What I am looking for: Are other users still experiencing this? Does anyone know what keeps breaking the audio driver? Is there a permanent fix that avoids repairing the app constantly? Meta support: when will this known issue be solved??? I've spent nearly 2 hrs trying to set up my daughter's quest, which she has had for over a year now. As much as this headset costs, and how 'big' of a name 'meta' is, I'm not understanding why this needs to be so complicated. I set it up previously, and the account was scheduled for deletion, and meta/fb is getting my accounts mixed up and now I can't access my secondary account. All the issues I'm having are complex within themselves, and I'm sick of trying to figure it out. ISSUE # 1 Meta allowed me to create an account under the email I want to use (lets call it secondary), but when I try to log into facebook with that email it's saying there's no account associated with that email. I've had this fb account for years, the image on meta is what my profile picture is ( a picture of my daughter as a baby nearly 10yrs ago smh). Facebook wouldn't allow me to delete this account (years ago) so it's just been there for years not getting used. ISSUE # 2 Diving deeper into issue: I have a facebook account, let's refer to it as my primary acct. this account holds ALL of my business assets and my personal account, business pages, ect. It is tied to an email I no longer have access to, and facebook won't let me delete it. I just added the secondary email I want to use, and it allowed me to. ISSUE # 3 Now, when I used the secondary email to create meta account (the new one), I thought it would be for log in purposes only. For reference> ladyscarface.... is the acct that I initially set up on the quest when my daughter got it whenever that was over a yr ago... i thought it got deleted, as i saw in old email that it said I had until march of 2024 to resolve it. it's still there, and it is attached to my primary fb acct. So when I used to secondary email it was tangled up between the two facebook accts. so now, the new meta acct I have created (not ladyscarface), is attached to the fb acct I can't access all of a sudden, and ladyscarface is still attached to my primary fb acct. ISSUE # 4 I want the new acct. to be attached to my primary fb acct. when I am in the meta app and it says I need to complete my profile (it asks for first, last name, and email) it won't let me move forward as it keeps saying that I need to delete an acct from accounts center, but it won't let me. it does this for both the new acct I created today, and the old one (ladyscarface) there are SEVERAL other issues, and I'm sick of googling, reading articles that don't fix or describe my issue. I need to speak to a real person to fix my facebook accounts, this meta horizon non-sense, and email issues. I need the email used for my primary acct removed permanently and deleted (since I no longer have access to it), I need secondary fb acct deleted, so I can use the secondary email as my primary email/login, and to hopefully fix ALL the issues I'm having with setting up this acct. Greetings, I ma starting off as a Unity VR Developer and am situated from Nepal. I am trying to enable subscription in the Platform Services. However, there isn't a Subscription option in the All Platform Services section. I have updated my payout information and have just created a sample app as of now. The IAPs are enabled. Hello fellow developers, I wanted to bring attention to an important issue that I’ve encountered since the merging of the stores, which I believe might be affecting more than just my app. After releasing an update to my app with the new metadata, I noticed a sharp decline in searchability—users can now only find my app by searching the exact name, whereas previously relevant keywords worked well in the search. I've been in communication with Meta's Developer Support team, who have acknowledged the issue and are working on it internally. However, I felt it was important to raise this in the community because this may be affecting other developers, particularly those who rely on searchability for discoverability and revenue. Here’s the situation: Only exact-name searches return my app in search results, despite all keywords being properly entered and compliant with guidelines. This issue arose immediately following the 5th August launch of the Meta Horizon Store. Meta is aware of the problem but has not provided a concrete timeline for resolution or clear interim solutions. If any of you are experiencing similar challenges, I think it’s crucial that we start a discussion. Discoverability is vital for every developer on the platform, and if this is a broader issue, we may need a more transparent approach from Meta, such as flagging it as a known issue. so a few days ago I changed the OpenXR on my main PC to Oculus from Windows MixedReality just to get pavlov vr running, and ever since I did that it has completely broken my PC VR, now in standalone mode the Quest 3 works completely fine with no issues what so ever but once its linked to the PC all the problems start to come out. im going to list the major issues with it below and someone PLEASE tell me how I can fix this, im also going to list the fixes ive tried. -------ISSUES-------- 1. the main way I know how the VR is going to break is when I first start up Quest Link on PC and im in the menu on the quest 3, framerate is a little choppy, and the controllers have an issue with tracking, for example if I swing and stop with the controller in my hand, my VR hand will go flying and then fly back to where my controller is. 2. SteamVR, when going into steamVR everything works fine, keep in mind this ONLY WORKS FINE in SteamVR Home. When I open a Game my screen will go black saying its loading the game, it will then cut to the SteamVR loading screen, it has never gone black before, then on my PC it will Load the game but not on the headset, my FPS will dip into the 10s, while the FrameRate is still awful it ill load into my headset and LAG awfully while only displaying a tiny screen of what my PC does. 3. Sometimes when I open a game in steamVR the loading screen will Freeze and when i move around in the vr the same image will follow my headset to where im looking, best example I can compare this to is if you hold up a piece of paper to your eyes and move around as that paper is still in front of you, is also does that for the problem is listed above too. and when that happens it will also do it in the oculus link home too. ---FIXES IVE TRIED--- 1. Factory Restarting the headset. 2. hooking it up to my laptop (has the same issue but I didnt change anything on there) 3. going into beta mode on both Steam and Oculus Link 4. Clearing my download Cashe 5. uninstalling and repairing both SteamVR and Oculus link 6. going into the windows registry editor and changing the OpenXR\1 back too WindowsMixedReality from having it as Oculus or Steam. 7. Hi! I'm an indie developer. Recently, tried to get the admin verification to launch my app on AppLab. The verification flow itself felt very broken. First, I tried to do this on my laptop, but when you need to take a photo of your ID, Meta asks you to rotate your phone. So, I tried to do this on my phone. Unfortunately, on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, Meta heavily blurred all my photos. I tried another phone (iPhone X), and it worked. All photos of my ID I took from iPhone X looked well (however, Meta compresses the quality and uses automatic detection to crop the taken photo, which in most cases was done wrong). But each time I sent them the ID photo, I got rejected because they couldn't read information from the photo, which was nonsense because any human being would have read it without any problem since all requirements for the phone were satisfied. At certain point, I thought maybe they couldn't recognise a type of document I sent. So I tried different documents — passport, driver's licence, residence permit and got the same result — they could not read the information.
