Viewing Quest Achievements
We're coming up on a year and we still don't have an official way to view and sort the Quest Achievements that we put forth effort unlocking in our massive VR libraries. Developers continue to include them in games as they know it yields extended play sessions and even users revisiting their games to experience every ounce of the hard work they put into their projects. Currently we can only view them in a recently unlocked list in the Meta Horizon Mobile App, and external websites created by Quest users (which are the most useful way at the moment). People didn't even realize Achievements existed because it was hidden in the Scoreboards App, and users hoped for integration into the Profile itself, similar to Steam, Xbox, and PS. Instead, we were left with a misunderstanding of how important Achievements are to the Quest ecosystem. At the very least, could we please get a way to filter by game/in-progress/completed in the Horizon Mobile App? We would love to see them in-headset eventually, but even a small step forward would revitalize our play sessions. 🙏
Meta Horizon Scrolling Bug
When I try to pair my quest 2 with the meta horizon app, I'm unable to scroll down and choose quest 2 on the device pairing page. I recently factory reseted the headset. Aditionally my phone is using the same network at the headset and has Bluetooth mode on. I've un-installed and re-installed the app 3 times, tried two family members phone's (also a samsung), and tried mirroring my phone to my computer's screen. can't pair Quest 3 with meta app on phone
My iPhone app says it found the headset, but the headset does not display the 5 digit code needed to complete the pairing. Instead my Quest 3 only offers the accounts that already are already set up in it. I have updated both the Quest 3 software and my iPhone Meta app, and restarted the headset twice to no effect.
Meta Quest app - stuck on the "Pair a new device" screen
I'm stuck on the "Pair your headset with the Meta Quest app to continue." step during the Meta Quest 3 setup. The smartphone app tells me to "Allow permissions", which I have already done. I have "Use precise location" enabled as well. Pressing the blue "Continue" button does nothing. The Meta Quest 3 button is greyed out. I have a code displayed in the headset that I'm supposed to input somewhere in this app. What do I do? My Meta Quest app is up to date. I have already installed all system updates on my smartphone. My smartphone and Meta Quest 3 are on the same WiFi network. See screenshots:
