App sharing across two devices?
Hi, I just bought two Meta Quest 3s to share between me, my wife and two kids. Both are registered to my account and I have added the other accounts to both devices. But when I try to enable app sharing on the second device, it tells me that I have to turn it off on the first device??? Are you honestly telling me that it is not possible to share two meta devices within our family without having to buy all software twice? Please tell me I made a mistake somewhere and this is possible! Everything else would be a joke - a bad one!Solved14KViews4likes11CommentsSharing apps between two quest 3 headsets
So I purchased my first quest 3 headset 512GB, and absolutely love it. I have also purchased several apps from the meta store and they reside on my headset. I just recently purchased another headset for my wife so that we can play the games that I purchased together. My question is, how do I copy those games over to the new headset that my wife is going to use? Right now I am the admin on my headset and I added her as a user on my headset so that we share until her's comes in. Do we setup the new headset under my account, or a new account under her name? Thank you in advance for your help. MarkSolved31KViews2likes12CommentsCan't add a second user to my Oculus Quest 2
I am trying to add a second user to my oculus and when I go to do it and press the add accounts button it comes up with an error straight away saying "Something went wrong. Please try again later." It also keeps trying to get me to put in a code on www.meta.com/device even when i try to play a game it closes it and brings up that screen. Hi, Im a developer developing a multiplayer app, Id like to be able to cast from my different devices into the developer hub. I am using test accounts created using the ODH under my account organization. yet when i try to cast from my device, it says: Multiple Accounts Detected The headset you are trying to cast from is using a different account than Oculus Developer Hub. Casting requires the same account on both the ODH and the headset. Is there a way to enable casting from test accounts, or to link the test accounts to the ODH account to allow casting?1.7KViews0likes1CommentMultiple dummy accounts for all our devices
Dear Support! We are developing a free App for Oculus Quest 1 and 2. In our office we use up to 20 separate devices to test our app linked to the same account. Unfortunately we started to get into the issue. Our free app is not working anymore on more than one Quest simultaneously. It says that we should purchase this app on a different account. Which makes no sense, cause the app is free. Also it’s a problem for us, because we'll have to create multiple dummy accounts for all our devices. Could you please suggest a workaround for this issue. Thank you in advance!1.3KViews0likes1CommentRecently upgraded to Oculus 2, want to "family share" between both headsets.
So, I have a Oculus 1 with a bunch of games. I just purchased a Oculus 2 for (myself and) wife, so we can play games together (bowling, table tennis and such). Before buying the 2, I noticed that all game that we have say "family sharing" on the info, what the crap is this? When we first got the 2, I logged her into it, so we'd have different profiles, however I forced us to purchase the game again? wtf? I thought family sharing was a thing? So my question is, how can I connect both headsets so that we don't have to purchase all games twice? Could I just log into the 2 with my login and play on both? But then she doesn't "get to have her own profile." And I think that's lame and not fair to her.6.4KViews0likes9CommentsI have 2 /Two Quest's one's
I have two headsets, I don't mind setting up different accounts but the main issue is I do not have 2 android devices for the two different accounts. i.e. I have 2 Gmail's, 2 Oculus accounts, and I have 2 Facebook accounts. How can I set the second system up without having 2 "Android" devices to connect the second headset up. ????? If you can answer this question or even part of it. I would love to discuss it over the phone. I want to use this in my place of business. 252-327-5679 est. I work for a community center overseas on a military base that provides entertainment and a place to relax for members when they are not on duty. We have purchased 10 consumer Oculus Quest 2's 256gb and we have been approved to spend an additional $4,000 on games for them. The issue is- the device has to be link to a FB account. This is a military purchase and we can not have this purchase under one persons name AND we need the ability to link all 10 devices to 1 credit card. I have reached out to Oculus and they sent me to Oculus Business- but because we have "consumer devices" I was sent back to the general helpline. Has anyone faced an issue like this? How can I purchase $4,000 worth of games- and not have to risk the possibility of us being not able to use the games in the future. If you have any advice- it will be greatly appreciated. (These will not be rented out- and will not be used to make any money, they are simply for members to use.)839Views0likes1Comment
