No audio on Quest 2 via link cable
Just as the title says, I'm not getting any audio through my headset while using a link cable for the oculus home-- no desktop audio in oculus home, no game audio when in a game, despite video working flawlessly. Issue persists with games both from oculus library and steamvr library. Audio works perfectly with steam link. Here is everything I've tried so far to fix it: enabled Oculus Virtual Audio Device in device manager and audio settings, tried every audio device in windows settings, tried every combo of audio settings on the oculus pc app, reinstalled/repaired oculus pc app, enabled beta testing and turned it back off, plugged headphones into the headset, tried every audio device in in-game menus, disabled and re-enabled every audio device in device manager, and restarted both my PC and quest 2 multiple times between attempts. so far nothing has affected any change at all. When I have music playing on my desktop while establishing the link, there will be a brief blip of desktop audio through the headset, but it immediately goes away. I'm out of ideas as to how to fix this and help is appreciated.
VLC has no audio or sound on Meta Quest 3
Hi, I'm working on a project based on LibVLC and it's now live on the applab. My application works fine on other devices older than Quest 3. But on Quest 3 there's no sound at all with both my application and vlc-android. I don't know if there's a problem with audio output. Also, I see some other sound problems with other applications such as MXPlayer it sometimes plays awfully. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks.Oakley Meta Vanguard No Audio
Im having issues with my brand new glasses. It does not play any audio coming from the phone. Everything else works but when it comes to listen to music or making calls. It gave me an update to version 17 whilst setting up the glasses and both the phone and meta ai app are up to date. I already tried the TS found over here re-pair the glasses, factory reset and all the works. it feels like a firmware bug but i have no idea what to do. Oakley did not help they just offered a return but it is not possible for me. I bought them for a trip in which I currently am… in a different country. any ideas?No audio when Casting to my phone via the Meta Horizon app
As the title says, when I try to cast from our Quest 3S to my phone (Samsung Galaxy 25 Ultra), video comes through fine but no audio is cast. Which is an issue, given that we're trying to watch my nephew play BeatSaber and can't hear the music. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app, power cycling the headset and phone, ensured both are on the same wifi network, and making sure all software is up to date. I can't find a setting that'll affect it. Thanks for any help you can give!
