Vanguard Charging Issue (Red flashing LED)
My new Meta Vanguard sunglasses (one day old) won't charge. I'm getting a constant flashing red LED, even though the case is fully charged (green LED). l've cleaned the contacts and tried a factory reset, but no change. Was wondering if anyone knows a way to retry an attempted auto edit of a bunch of clips that were taken via Autocapture. I ran a 10k recently, and all of the clips were imported, but the auto-edit failed and some clips didn't fully get processed (still have the raw fisheye look to them). Before the error was dismissed, I think it read something like "error with cloud import". (I have cloud backups on) Is there any known way to "redo" the import or attempt to re-edit the clips? Now I'm just stuck with a handful of full-processed, non figheye'd clips in a sea of raw captures that aren't usable. Thanks!23Views0likes0CommentsDisconnects when putting on glasses
Hello, I recently began to have a problem with my oakley meta HSTN glasses, when I turn them on they start blinking white, and after I put them on the led turns red and disconnects, i noticed that when i don´t open that much the glasses they do not disconnect, but when stretching a little bit like when you put them on they turn a red led and disconnect. I also noticed that for some strange reason when I put pressure in the sides where the on/off button is located, they don´t disconnect. I already tried to force restart: didn´t work, factory reset: also didn´t work, unpair and pair: didn´t work, and also uninstalling the app and installing again while trying to pair: doesn´t work, so I really need help because im getting a little bit anxious :(173Views1like3CommentsOakley Vanguard's Microphone not working since last software update
Happening to me now, 6 months old and used maybe 10 times. I have done everything the terrible Meta support pages suggest. Un-paired and re-paired. Restored to factory Cleared the speaker. Uninstalled and re-installed the software on my phone. Release version 124 and since then the glasses dont respond to Hey Meta or OK Meta and nobody can here me if i answer a call or try and respond to a WhatsApp message. Strangely though if i want to use the translate function that works just fine, go figure. Hi all, this is only my second time using my Vanguards and the microphone isn’t working so I can’t use the ‘Hey Meta’ function. I've done absolutely everything that is asked. Unpair. Restarts. My HSTNs recently stopped working properly. When in the case they show in the app as having a charge but when I remove them they do not turn on. The case battery status does not show even with the glasses in it. I have tried the reset by holding the capture button and switching them on but there is no indication of anything. No LED light or anything. The case reset also does not seem to work. I have also tried a factory reset on the case with no effect. I have unpaired my glasses from my phone and now cannot get them to re-pair with my phone. I've two pair of RayBan meta gen2 "Headliner + Wayfarer", and few days ago the Headliner start the issue and today also the Wayfarer. Each is connected to a different phone with different setups, but now both RayBan, when asked to play the just received WhatsApp voice message, they are muted, like they are playing a mute message... It never happened before, all the audio commands and speakers works good on other applications... We reset both glasses, reconnect, ans troubleshooting but nothing changes... I’m experiencing a problem with both slow-motion and hyperlapse modes on my Meta smart glasses: When I say "Hey meta, start slow-mo" the glasses start recording, but the saved video plays back at standard speed, not slow motion. When I use hyperlapse, the final video is made up of stacked photos (which seems correct), but the playback is extremely choppy, like there’s no smoothing or post-processing applied. What I’ve already tried: Factory reset the glasses multiple times Reinstalled the Meta AI app several times Changed region/location and tested with a USA VPN (I’m based in Malta, EU) Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?
