Oakley Vanguard "Auto capture" feature
Hi, if I set the auto capture function to automatic when I start an activity with my Garmin watch, there is no problem, but if I set it to manual and try to activate it vocally, I can't get it to start. I am Italian and I have set the Vanguard Meta language to Italian. Do you think it's a translation issue? In Italian, auto capture is called “acquisizione automatica.” I've tried everything, even pronouncing it clearly in English, but I can't get it to work. Can you help me? This is really frustrating. I don't want it automatic because it is draining the battery, I just want to let it start when I decide it. Thank you very much.61Views1like2CommentsAccidentally connected into the wrong calendar.
I accidentally connected into to the wrong outlook calendar from the Oakley Meta AI app. I disconnected from the calendar and started the process over to try and log back into the correct calendar, now it automatically connects to the calendar I don't want. On App Connections I click on outlook.com Calendar Connect. From there it just connects to the wrong account without giving me an option to type in what account I want to connect to. Has anyone ran into this issue? and were you able to resolve it?40Views0likes1CommentAutocapture didn't work after 2 or 3 km
Almost every time, the autocapture feature on my Meta vanguard glasses automatically stops working after I start running or cycling for about 2 to 3 kilometer(some times at 5 or 6km). The Meta glasses fail to read data from my Garmin watch, such as heart rate or speed. On the watch, the Meta AI icon changes into a blue IQ icon, similar to the one in the Garmin Connect app, with yellow ellipsis dots next to it. At that point, the autocapture function no longer works, and when I ask the Meta glasses by voice, they respond that they’re unable to read the relevant information. My watch is a Garmin Forerunner 965 system version 26.08, my phone runs on Android, and my Meta Vanguard glasses are on version 17.Solved87Views0likes3CommentsUnable to connect Meta AI app to Garmin
As other have reported there is an issue getting the Meta AI app to connect to Garmin. Got excactly the same issue as reported here: Oakley Meta Vanguard can't connect to Garmin from Meta AI | Meta Community Forums - 1350499 -- I'm using an iPhone and have the following issue trying to connect my Meta AI app to Garmin Connect. Starting in the Meta AI app: Open Devices -> Vanguard -> App connections Select Garmin Press "Connect Garmin" Press "Yes, allow" on "Allow connection to Garmin?" screen This open the Garmin Connect app on a "Meta AI" screen Press "Agree" on "Connect with Meta AI?" form This opens a link to facebook.com in Safari. I'm not sure what the full link is. What appears is my facebook feed, with a callout box at the bottom of the page reading "The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed" -- Have tried to delete and reinstall the Meta app 2 times. Same error. No change. Tried to mess around with language settings as I'm on Norwegian settings for phone, Meta AI and Garmin app. Glasses are Oakley Vanguard and my Garmin device is Garmin Edge 1050. Kind of in a dead end here and help would be nice.Solved404Views0likes7CommentsOakley Meta Vanguard No Audio
Im having issues with my brand new glasses. It does not play any audio coming from the phone. Everything else works but when it comes to listen to music or making calls. It gave me an update to version 17 whilst setting up the glasses and both the phone and meta ai app are up to date. I already tried the TS found over here re-pair the glasses, factory reset and all the works. it feels like a firmware bug but i have no idea what to do. Oakley did not help they just offered a return but it is not possible for me. I bought them for a trip in which I currently am… in a different country. any ideas?114Views0likes4Comments
