Other players avatars not showing up in Rift Application.
Dear Devs, My app has Rift and Quest support. I've created two applications in dashboard, one for Rift and one of Quest. I've also pasted the app IDs in the Platform and Avatars Settings file in Unity. Added a sample build to Rift application and Quest application and uploaded the build, added test users oculus email ID. The same oculus email ID is being used for the login inside Unity as well. I'm getting the blue default avatar instead of the user's avatar in the Rift Application. Please let me know how to resolve this. I've also added the Data Usage Checkup => Avatars, User Profile and User ID. Hi everybody, I am new here. I'm having a few errors when uploading builds to my chanel via Meta Quest Developer Hub. I got an error that simply said "API_ERROR", "A server error occurred. The request will be retried.". I was builded an .exe version and can play it on my windows computer. When I went to the build section on the web, I saw my application showing the uploaded build. But it hasn't been included in any chanel yet. I also used that build to move to production chanel. And sent a review request and am getting an error "VRC.Functional.1 - TEST BLOCKER - No build available to download". I'm wondering if my build has actually been pushed properly? When I click download on https://developer.oculus.com/manage, it only reloads that website. without receiving any download files. Can anyone tell me what error I'm getting? And how to solve it? Hi, I have spent the past several hours attempting to run the initial Oculus Setup, but every time I get past the Terms and Conditions I get a screen saying that I cannot connect to the Oculus Servers (which I know is false--my Internet is working fine). After scrolling through several other forums and posts, I think if I am able to install the App onto any drive besides my C: drive (I have three drives -- C:, D:, and F:), my problems will be solved. BUT, I cannot figure out how to start the installation on my F: drive. I have tried to follow the steps on this page: https://support.oculus.com/help/oculus/1676275305961321/ numerous times. Whenever I enter "OculusSetup /drive:F" into Run, Windows replies something similar to: "Windows cannot find 'OculusSetup'. Please check your spelling and try again." hi all, hope you can help me. I recently bought an oculus rift, and I can't activate developer mode. I owned an oculus go and activated developer mode from my iphone app. When I select my oculus rift and go to devices -> VR settings nothing appears after a few seconds the word "controller" appears and nothing more. Oculus - I have this idea of creating a 2-in-1 single use vrgamecare pack, that cleans my Rift but also cleans my face after use. In addition to offering a hygiene product, the packaging could serve as marketing surface for game or product promotion. I have a lot more ideas on what we could do with this and would be very interested in chatted with someone in business development. Can we collaborate and make this a branded Oculus product? Add test user account to release channel on app dashboard Sign in to Oculus Home with test user account Download and run the app Create a new build of the app in Unity Run the newly created .exe Expected: the entitlement check succeeds Actual: the entitlement check fails with error OVR76444553 It was working correctly until yesterday. The same thing happens with several user accounts. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Oculus software. I am trying to build a VR application using the native oculus sdk provided by meta in Vulkan. I am facing an issue with textures in the application. The Textures are flickering(more like jittering) at the edges. The jittering is more prominent inside the VR. Any idea what might be the reason behind it? Furthermore I have already implemented mimapping for the textures and multisampling is also implemented. If any more details are required please let me know. Here is the link to the refenrence video.
