I've never had an issue before the most recent Quest updates. Uploading new build .apk with .obb file sizes over 4.4gb total. When I try to get passed the first scene, the game's next scene will not load. This has never been an issue before and no lines of code have been changed. I was able to catch one of my fresh installs not properly installing. After I exited the game, the update button suddenly appeared even though it had already fully downloaded and installed the proper version number. This issue was confirmed by several players. I don't know what to do here. None of my new builds are allowing me to go passed the Main Menu even though it works flawlessly on PCVR. I suspect it has something to do with the .obb file not properly installing. So, I have used the Quest, Quest 2 and Quest Pro, and while the products had been mostly satisfactory, one of the most mind bugling issues I had was the relative unease of use of the USB-C connection mechanisms. While using the Oculus, many times I had to inadeptly move my position in a way to pull the cable, and in doing that I feel a sympathetic discomfort for my Oculus and the cable especially when it is forcibly pulled out with side friction, and as every time this occurs it decreases the life expectancy of the link-cable, the quest usb-c port and eventually the whole product use-cycle length. My quest began failing this way after a year or two, and it became very difficult for me to stably connect the usb-c cable so that pc tethering became unusable. So why not implement a magnetic-attached cable attachment solution, so that every time the cable is pulled beyond thresholds it simply disconnects and fall off without inducing any sharp feeling of cable pulling and goldfinger-frictioning? I mean, for the design to be reliable it takes a little work, but the cable that is implemented on my LG DualScreen's second screen phone case is just reliable enough for me to think of it as a good prototyping start point. Hello everyone, I followed this tutorial in order to make a minimal build example for the Oculus Quest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyxbA2bm7os. I did not import any 3D objects to the project. When deploying to the Quest (1) and analyzing the framerate, it never exceeds about 30 fps. This is for sure way too little for the application in order to get ever published on the Oculus store. Oculus guidelines say the application must meet 72 fps at a minimum: https://developer.oculus.com/resources/vrc-quest-performance-1/ I'm using Unity 2021.2.5f1, XR Interaction Toolkit 2.0.0-pre.6, Oculus XR Plugin 1.11.2, OpenXR Plugin 1.3.1 and Universal RP 12.1.2. Hello everyone, I just asked Meta customer service for this thing and the support I got agreed with my idea ^^ I asked if it was possible to exchange my Oculus Rift S with a brand new Meta Quest 2. By "exchange" I mean that I send my Oculus Rift S and I get a reduction for the Meta Quest 2 like a trade. It will be cool and its a positive point for the ecology, it prevents the old product for being thrown away. Hello, we are developers of a VR app. When we tried to add a new Meta account email to our app's Release Channel on Oculus Developer (https://developer.oculus.com/), we got this message: "We couldn't find anyone with the Oculus email." This email is a newly-created Gmail that has just signed up for a Meta account on https://auth.meta.com/. This email is not a Facebook account. Did something went wrong, or is there a step missing? I’ve been trying for over an hour to verify my developer account, but it’s not working. I’ve entered my phone number multiple times and never got a single code sent to me.
