My left quest pro controller is not working
Its sits on a blue light not flashing i can charge it but every time i try turning it on it sits on blue or i factory reset the controller still blue even unpairing the controller i cant even re pair it because it just sits on blue no wonder why people say not to buy these controllers its a waste of 300 bucks i even had troubles with it before this happened like not tracking i would have to turn them off and on about 20 times before even one would work1.4KViews1like3CommentsCan I connect my Quest 3 controllers to my Quest 2?
I have Quest Pro Controllers that I have been using on my Quest 2 (Great!!) I purchased a Quest 3 and will be moving the Quest Pro Controllers to it. I would like/prefer to pair my Quest 3 Controllers to my Quest 2 Headset. Currently this is not an option to select in the App. Are there any plans to allow Quest 3 Controllers to work on a Quest 2 (similar to how the Pro Controllers work on Q2)? Title really says it all. My oculus is stuck on the paring your quest screen. My phone says it’s connected but the app is stuck. I own two Meta Quest 3 devices with Meta Warranty Plus coverage. The headset had been successfully paired with the Meta Quest app on my phone and had been in use since mid-January 2024. The headset had previously updated apps. I'm unaware if the OS and / or firmware had performed any updates. No error messages have been displayed, only the behavior as described and linked in video above. All accessories have been removed from the headset. Headset was fully charged when the issue began, has been allowed to fully discharge, and has fully charged again (LED is green). Issue persists. Two factory resets have been performed via power button and - volume key combination. Issue persists immediately after the reset with no successful boot. Headset was purchased directly from Meta in January, has had no other owners and has been used with care and stored in appropriate conditions free of sunlight, excessive heat, etc. I own the original device box with barcodes and serial numbers. I'm stuck on the "Pair your headset with the Meta Quest app to continue." step during the Meta Quest 3 setup. The smartphone app tells me to "Allow permissions", which I have already done. I have "Use precise location" enabled as well. Pressing the blue "Continue" button does nothing. The Meta Quest 3 button is greyed out. I have a code displayed in the headset that I'm supposed to input somewhere in this app. What do I do? My Meta Quest app is up to date. I have already installed all system updates on my smartphone. Recently tried to link a new controller to my Quest 2. Oculus on phone (which has been updated to 'Meta Quest' refuses to login. I can loginto the Meta Quest site on the laptop - just not the app. I've reinstalled the app and changed passwords but nothing makes any difference.
