graphics card compatible?
meta horizon link is saying my graphics card is incompatible when it should be compatible. i am using an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT which came out after the minimum requirement for graphics card, which means it should be compatible. i suspect it may be because its too new but its displayed before that it is able to recognize it and expresses that it may be not powerful enough for a enjoyable vr experience, however whenever i try to connect it says it cant because the graphics card is incompatible. specs: meta quest 3s (vr headset), amd radeon RX 6500 xt (graphics card), 16 gb of ram (not graphics card), and using air link with a pc that uses ethernet.Meta Link freezes after a few seconds
After installing latest Meta Horizon Windows app update (85.0.0.239.552), the display inside headset freezes (sometimes goes black, similar to when proximity sensor kicks in, but while still wearing VR headset) after a few seconds after establishing cabled link (official 5m cable). Have to restart PC and re-establish Link to get it to work again, but then same happens after a few seconds. Can still hear audio inside headset, and when using games it seems to do head tracking (monitor screen updates, but not inside headset). This also happens inside the Meta Link view (grey environment with grid floor and ceiling inside VR headset after establishing link). Firmware in VR headset is also on latest version, This happened after updating Meta Horizon Windows app on 3rd/4th March. Before this it was working perfect. Have tested this on 4 different PC's, with 3 different Meta Quest 3 headsets and one Quest Pro, with same result. Hardware on test PC's: Windows 11, different i9 processors (13th/14th gen, Intel Core Ultra 9), RTX 5090 laptop, RTX 5070 Ti Desktop, RTX 4090 desktop. 64GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers 595.71 WHQL driver + latest Windows updates
Pairing Quest 3
Why is it that I have had this headset for over a year and have only been able to connect by wire maybe twice during this time frame.I look back at other solutions to only see that this problem has been going on for years. I will not recommend the Quest 3 or any Meta products in the future.Thanks a lot for disappointing hundreds of users.
Meta Quest Link Update: Link Launch Issue Resolved
Hi everyone, We recently identified an issue with Meta Quest Link unable to launch which caused users to be stuck in the app launch loading screen. We’ve now released an update that should resolve this problem. What’s changed: The main issue is fixed, and you should be able to use Meta Quest Link as expected. Please note: For now, you won’t be able to see your hands in Dash. However, raycasts are visible, and you should be able to interact with games and other content as usual. Do to the issues these past few days in the beginning turning on and off the internet worked for me, but as of yesterdays update I had more problems. I decided to click fix connection or repair I forget but then the whole app deleted itself because there was a failure during upload and now I'm in this infinite loop of the app never downloading because there is a problem. no matter how many times I restart my computer like it tells me too.Cannot redeem cross buy games after winter app overhaul (no support resolution since February)
Hello, I'm primarily a PCVR user and got two titles to get with cross buy ("Shadow Point" and "Raccoon Lagoon"). Tried getting them with cross buy from Link app and getting "Purchase Failed / Error performing query." error. Addressed support on 18th February (ticket #09211349). It's been almost 2 months and nothing changed. My concerns are: 1. It's a global issue that happened after winter Link app overhaul. Has anyone managed to cross buy PCVR titles?! 2. Supports are not doing anything and just hoping the ticket will be closed. Is there a way to escalate the ticket? Two months is quite long time to resolve an issue. Also they provide generic responses like "we are working on the ticket, please wait". Kind regards, Alex.
Link doesn't work at all after the new update
I wanted to play VR one day as i tried linking my meta quest 3s to the computer via cable but then it began to load for forever, tried via air link:same problem. But before the incident i had message on my PC app saying "Some functions of meta quest link may not work.." is there any solution?
Air link not working
I know i use to use air link on my quest 2, however I am trying to use it on my quest 3 that i have had for over a year and it is not connecting. I have it "connected" and it says everything is working correctly, but when i try to link, the headset is permanently stuck in the meta logo loading screen and in the pc app it says "Meta Quest Link isnt working correctly. click here to check our support article" and then "we cant find your headset. please connect your headset." I am at my wits end. please please help. FYI I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the pc, factory reset my headset, restarted both multiple times, unlinked - relinked, ect. I will redo any of these steps if they will help but i am in shambles.air link doesnt work
the air link used to work but suddley it stopped so i disconnected the headset from the pc in hopes to re-link them but now when i open airlink it cant find my pc or any pc for that matter. they are on the same wifi and i tried restarting both the pc and the headset but it doesnt work
