v2.3 and still no navigator UI?? what gives?
Since the navigator ui was introduced I liked it a lot. I used it while on the PTC and was 100% relived that i didn't have to have the ugly grey bar with limited slots for apps i actually use just hanging there all the time. Then an update (which was more a downgrade) removed it and brought the old universal menu back which sucked. Then i hear the navigator is replacing the universal menu permanently - Awesome! except its been several months and 3 version updates since then and my quest is STILL using the ugly menu that is useless to me because i cant put more than one app i actually use on it and its just an eye sore when i using 2d apps. WHY? i get your goofy rollout process but its been months and months and updates keep coming but somehow not updating the UI? theres not even an option to choose? what is this bs?401Views2likes9CommentsQuest 3S Sleep Mode
Okay so the title kind of sums it, but I have used a quest 2 for about 6-ish years. Well my little sibling gave me his headset (the Quest 3S) to play on and mess with well I would usually play the headsets connected to a pc via Virtual Desktop. So I am having an issue with the sleep mode on the headset. I changed it to 15 minutes so when I go to do something for a couple minutes it won't shut off while I am afk. Well the problem is, it still goes to sleep after a minute of the headset being inactive. And there isn't a proximity sensor from what I have noticed so is there a way to fix the timer so I don't have to keep refixing my stuff for my games just because the headset turns off?59Views0likes1CommentHeadset won’t turn on
I had left my headset to charge overnight same with controllers and the next day it was green but wouldn’t turn on. It also says on my app that it’s still in red but the headset shows green. I have left it to charge for another day or so and now it just won’t turn on. I held the power button for 10,15,20, and even 30 seconds to see if it would turn on but no luck. Hi, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. Meta has emailed me to say that my age needs to be verified on my account because it appears as though a child is using the account. My son (10) set up his own account and has been using the headset, I never use it. The instructions are so confusing. How do I do this? I have now set up my own account - so how do I become the primary account and join his account in the Family Center? The only thing I can find is that I have to factory reset his headset, then log in with my profile, and then I can add his profile from there? He doesn’t want me to factory reset because apparently he will lose progress on his games? Please does anyone have any clear, simple instructions on how to make sure I am the primary account, he is the secondary account, which I can manage? Hello, I sent my headset back a month and a half ago and it shows delivered March 16 and Grapevine, Texas. I have an advanced replacement in process way back in March and nothing‘s been done. I’ve sent emails back-and-forth and just keep getting told we’re working on it. Today i bought a new meta quest 3. i followed all instructions 1 by 1. First setup, then wlan, then organisation pin, then email ... this is were the problem occurs. When i put in the email it says the email does not exist. I logged in over the website and all worked all, i setup a profile and activated the app. The pin code was accepted, the email not however the email exisits and i was able to logon to the website. I tried to register 3 new different emails and setup all of them and tried the same. All time the website replies back that the email does not exisit. The email is verified and works well with the notifications and co. i factory reset the device and tried it again with 2 other emails with same result. Can sombody explain me how to register and use this device when it does not accept already registered accounts. asking for a solution mostly ends in doing all again with same issue. In case i can not resolve this within 1-2 weeks i will drop the device back to the seller with feedback.50Views0likes1Comment
