quest 3 doesnt show up on devices list
Hey everyone, I just bought a Quest 3 from Best Buy a few days ago and set it up through the Meta Quest phone app. Everything works fine on the headset itself, but I’m running into two issues: The Batman game promo that was supposed to come with the headset never appeared in my library or “Purchased” section. When I log into my Meta account on my computer, it says I don’t have any devices added. If I try to add my Quest 3 manually with the serial number, it tells me there’s no device with that serial number. I’m 100% sure the serial number is correct (I even double-checked O’s vs 0’s). The headset is definitely authentic since I bought it sealed from Best Buy, and it works fine for playing games. The problem is when I try to contact Quest support, it blocks me because my account supposedly has “no devices.” Even though I am logged in on my phone app, support still won’t let me proceed. Has anyone run into this before? How do I get my Quest 3 properly tied to my Meta account so I can claim the Batman promo and actually contact support? Hey everyone, I got my Quest 3s over 4 months ago, and less than 2 months in, my Quest decided to no longer charge. My device is stuck on 1% battery and doesn't turn on at all. I have tried multiple USB-C chargers that should definitely give it enough power, as well as holding down the power button for 20 seconds and the additional volume button, but nothing seems to work. I attempted to go through my warranty to get another device; however, it says, "We couldn’t find a device associated with the verification info provided. Please try again". This device is not a knock-off of any sort, and I received it as a gift from Verizon when bundling my home internet and phone plan. I think that it's absolutely insane that there is 0 way to get in contact with any support, not even AI support lol. Please, if someone knows a way to fix this or get in contact with someone who can actually help. Context Unity + Meta XR Building Blocks. I'm building an AR app (Passthrough + MR Utility Kit). I show a world-space UI dialog above an MRUK table (Canvas in world space, RectTransform placed at the table center + slight lift to sit on the surface -> all via script). Symptom Whenever I push the right controller thumbstick downward, the dialog appears to "jump" ~0.5 m up, and pushing again makes it jump back down. This happened both on the device and in the Simulator. What it actually is It's not the dialog moving. The problem is that by mistake i logged out all my facebook accounts from all other devices. from my phone mobile and from the laptop and after formatted my pc i can't log in anymore my facebook account. i also tried the other way "Try another way" but this might take days even months and so far no one helped or answered me. is there any way to bypass this problem ? my account was not locked for any reason , i just formatted my pc and since then i can't log in to my facebook account because it need my notification check on other device/s. my facebook account is: [mod edit: personal details removed] thank you.808Views0likes1CommentRender Camera Switching Forcefully in Screen Space - Camera with Pointable Canvas
When using Pointable Canvas with Screen Space - Camera on a Canvas, the Render Camera is forcibly switched to the Event System Camera instead of the intended camera (CenterEyeAnchor) This issue only appears during Play Mode and prevents the UI from rendering properly. Despite setting the correct camera, the Pointable Canvas overrides the Render Camera settings. I don't want to switch to World Space because I need the UI to always render in front of the player. Hi All, I'm trying to submit an App to App Lab, but there is a problem with the App Metadata. I have filled all the gaps and sections, and I have all green checks but specs. I'm really have filled everything, and I have saved changes, so I don't know why, the specs haven't the green check and the button of submission is block and it says: "Please, complete all App Metadata sections before submitting". The original problem of scratching the surface with glasses is temporarily solved with a set of silicon spacers. The awkward part is that there are two different attachments for each eye (the hard plastic and the silicon), and sometimes they are dislocating on their own. The NEW PROBLEM has appeared: the air circulation is compromised! My eyes are boiling inside! The glasses are fogging very quickly. How much more money do we need to invest to fix the Oculus VR product? Also, Oculus should have thought about this before. Expensive vision glasses are already ruined.
