Fiducial marker support for object tracking
We're developing an app in Unity for the Quest 3 that accurately tracks the positions of the controllers. We need to identify the location of the controllers in relation to an object and would like to include fiducial markers on the object for this task. I get the privacy aspect of not allowing camera access to apps, but surely providing anonymous fiducial marker tracking would enable a large new range of applications without jeopardizing privacy. For our app, we would like to be able to track very small fiducials such as <5mm shapes rather than the large QR code printouts, so that we can physically place them on a small object. Anything applicable on the roadmap? We are looking at other headset solutions, but it would be great if we can do it on the Quest 3.1KViews1like1CommentIs it possible to scan QR codes via the Quest Pro with the new passthrough SDK?
Hello! 🙂 We are creating an application that requires the scanning of a QR code for login information. We would like to use the Quest Pro because of all the new features, and we are wondering if there have been any changes to the access of the passthrough feed from the camera's Thank you for your help!1.2KViews0likes0CommentsOpening LINKS inside OCULUS from PC QR CODES
Hi! I am working on an application, and I am trying to boost the user experience. My users mainly use the PC to work, but at some point in the workflow they need to use the OCULUS to see some content in an immersive way. I would love to show a QR code on my app and directly open a link to my immersive content in the visor, without asking the user to do some complicated stuff, just by looking at the QR code from the visor in the same way we are used by scanning QR codes with our smartphones. Do you think you can do that? It would b a game-changer!983Views2likes0Comments
