please help me to log in my last account
As I haven't used my Meta Quest3 device for a long time, I need to re-login to my Meta account. I still have the email associated with my account and can receive verification codes through it. However, the mobile phone number I bound has been deactivated, so I can't receive the verification codes sent to my phone! I can't log in to my account and I can't modify the two-step verification either. This is really bothering me! That's why I have to create a new account to asking for help. This started happening a few days ago before my quest 3s really couldn’t track anything. The screen would show a notification that the tracking wouldn’t work a few times while playing. But a few days later my tracking was all lost. If I only click something with my home menu it would only show up the notification that the tracking was lost. There’s a black screen too in the background if I turn on pass through and the screen would freeze sometimes. The headset starts normally, shows the Meta logo, then displays the down-arrow firmware symbol as if it’s updating. After that, the screen goes completely black and never turns back on. People have already tried every official fix that Meta recommends: Rebooting the headset. Performing a full hard reset using the power and volume buttons. Installing the manual firmware update through the Meta update tool on a computer. Even after completing all of these steps successfully, the headset remains unusable. The issue clearly points to a defective firmware update or a corrupted boot process caused by the update itself, not user error or damage. Some customers have received replacements, while others have been denied support because their device is out of warranty. That inconsistency is unacceptable. A firmware defect that originates from Meta should not depend on warranty status. This needs to be recognized as a widespread product issue. I'm on Quest V83 and a couple of versions ago I got lumped with the new navigator. I can't stand it. I've seen plenty of posts online saying you can disable it and go back to the Universal Menu via Advanced/Experimental settings. The problem is, I don't have this option in there. I woke up and heard my quest 3 just shooting out air in like an off and on pattern every 2 or 3 seconds and I tried to put it on, unresponsive from the screen, I tried to hold the power button which actually worked except when I even clicked it down again the blowing immediately resumed with a sudden gray flash of the color that the screen makes to mimic black, then it would turn off the screen and continue blowing, when I plug it in with a charger that works with other devices the power port refuses to display a color or even a sound to show that its charging.53Views0likes2CommentsI've never had any past issue like this.
I've ran into a problem last year (2025) and idk what month it was I believe it was late August, and basically I was up for a long time that night playing Contractors Shodown Exfilzone and everything was running smooth as butter, crystal clear gameplay, graphics and an overall great performance. The day after, I woke up and did my own thing for a bit and noticed my headset was not charging right because there was no charging light, checked the cable All good, but when I turned the headset on it showed the regular loading screen, THENNN I saw absolutely nothing. Just grey, like the headset was definitely still on, I heard the booting noise beforehand and I could hear the fans on the just blank screen. So I though "i'll just leave it till the evening" Then the evening hits, I'm ready to play yet it still won't run, doing the same thing over and over. So I tried searching and none of what I found work, so I put it up on display and its been sitting on display for almost a whole year. Fast forward to today, I thought I'd go back to replay the memories of playing with my friends that I hadn't played with in so long. And the same thing happened again. I have factory resetted MULTIPLE times and I have forcefully rebooted my headset. Still no outcome. Thought i'd come here for help. Hello everyone, I was messing around in the accessibility settings and decided to try out Voice Controls. I got a download prompt, clicked through it, and admittedly spammed the toggle a bit to get it to turn on. It finally turned on, but now I'm stuck with a really annoying bug: There is a permanent purple circle with a white microphone icon floating in the top right of my FOV (looks a bit like the red recording indicator). The voice commands don't actually work at all (I'm in Germany, so dictation/AI features have never worked for me anyway). The worst part: I can't turn it off. The Voice Control toggle/slider in the settings is completely unresponsive and stuck in the ON position. I've already tried rebooting the headset, but the floating icon is still there and the toggle remains stuck. Does anyone know a fix or a way to force-disable this accessibility feature?
