Quest 3 V81 link cable not working, another one
Hi Since the last V81 update, the cable link is not working. I tried everything, Turn public beta test on, reinstall the link app, factory reset on the Q3, update all drivers in my pc, update BIOS in my pc, update windows, new cable, several ubs c ports on my pc, and nothing works, absolutely nothing... This is beyond frustrating, everyone once in a while pcvr is broken. I know it's not the end of the world, but people spend money on these things expecting them to work I hope Meta is taking notes and fixes this bug asap Any help/tips on how to solve this will be appreciated1.4KViews10likes69CommentsWired Link Issue v81.1034 been happening since v79 and v76
Ever since the v76 or v79 updates my link cable hasn't been registered on my headset causing PCVR issues my cable isn't broken but it rejecting connections to PCVR I use my headset only for PCVR and ever since the these updates came out its been causing major issues to PCVR in general the PCVR programs that I use keep rejecting the connection after a couple of minutes causing major issues with my PCVR experience. I tried a random USB cable and it has the same issue so I know its the port on the Quest and not my cable's I'm on current v81.1034 and this has been an issue on my quest for a while now. You guys need to fix the Cable connection on the cable it needs to be fixed because PCVR on Wi-Fi is super buggy and I want this Fixed90Views0likes4CommentsQuest link takes 5 minutes to launch
My meta quest link takes about 5 minutes to launch, it has been doing this since earlier this year I even tried wiping my computer to try and fix it. I did find a temporary solution, I opened the computer services and restarted "Oculus VR Runtime Service" before starting Oculus Link from the headset. Oculus link will work normal after until I turn off the computer, next time I want to use Oculus link I would have to go back into services and restart it again. I am using windows 11, Quest 3 headsetSolved740Views0likes36Comments
