Bricked unit after update
Firmware 83 just broke my quest 2. Was working fine then after update screen just switches between pass through and a black screen. I can't do anything with it. I've exhausted all suggestions from tech support. Factory Reset Update via software center Even using adb to revert to firmware 76 Meta said they won't help me because it is out of warranty. Can someone explain how this is a warranty issue? They released an update that broke my perfectly working headset and now it's my problem? All i was offered was a discount on a refurbished headset. I didn't break it, it didn't fail from age and use or abuse. YOU broke it and expect me to just buy a new one? I've reported this to BBB meta should be ashamed of their practices
Workrooms not working on some Quest 2s
I use Workrooms almost daily. I have a Meta Quest 3 and some of my co-workers have the Quest 2s. It's never been an issue, but just a couple days ago, we noticed that Workrooms does not work on some Quest 2s. After launching the app, the app logos appears then just black. Nothing but black. I have to press the Meta button to bring up the menu to exit the application. At first, I thought it might have something to do with the OS version, but the Quest 2 are all on the most recent v81. Has anyone else encountered this problem? More importantly, does anyone have an explanation or solution?
Some Meta PCVR games overlapping imiges
Hello, ich have a problem. when ever i whant to play the PC version of Bonelab or Onward I have like a double Image not like fuzzynes on the outside, I mean like everything, when i close one eye its normal. When i play the Standalone version it works fine. And a seperate issiue, my hands dont work. Specs: Meta quest 2 Ryzen 7 788X3D Radeon RX 7900 GRE 32 GB RAM
Oculus 2 Link Cable not registering being plugged in
its been about a week or more now since my Link cable Hasn't registered being plugged in before the update it worked just fine but I heard other people are having the same issues across discord, reddit, and other social media platforms. I really would like to use Pc-Vr again pls fix this. ðŸ˜
Quest 2 Meta cams not working properly
Hey, my Meta cams (so the cams used to see the environment etc.) doesnt really work. So if I start my Quest 2 and it asks for the Guardian thing to set up it does work and I can see my real surroundings through the cams but it only works for like 3-5 seconds until the cams crash? Basically they freeze and it stops working for some reason. But also when I start the Quest 2 I already have a black screen for the setup and basically have to do the guardian thing "blind". I already did a Factory reset but that didnt fix the issue.

Boot looping in boot menu
So I had to factory reset my quest 2 and now after fixing it it has got stuck in the boot menu and doesn't boot past that menu, it always stays on and the only way to turn it off is threw the power off button in the menu, and if its plugged in it just turns it self back on. I can't even use software update tool to enter recovery mode or put the headset into sideload update cause it just boots back into USB update mode. Not even holding the power button to turn off or reboot/restart and power off will work cus it just turns back on. Please help!
Quest 2 Controller issues with tracking
I've been having issues with my left quest 2 controller, when moving the controller, it moves up, down, left and right, but it wont move forwards or backwards. I found that when holding the controller sideways to the right, or even upside down, it does track the profundity of the controller, but when it's sideways to the left or even just the standard upright position, it wont. Another thing that seems to be part of the issue, is that when i try show the left controller to the rightside tracking cameras of the headset, it does track the movement flawlessly. So it seems to be a problem with the leftside tracking cameras of the quest 2 headset, and some sort of axis issue with the controller sensor maybe? Anyway, i unpaired and paired the controllers, i cleaned the tracking cameras on the headset with microfiber, i reset the whole system, i changed batteries and had the controller without a battery for about a minute, but none of that worked and im getting a bit frustrated with all of it. Can anyone help me with this issue?
Device storage not available through USB connection
Device: Quest 2 Currently up-to-date on v79.1034. Developer settings are enabled. MTP Notification is enabled. I have a cable and port connection that works with other devices to connect storage to my Windows PC. When I connect the Quest 2 with the USB-C cable I receive no notification, no sound, checking notifications manually through the bell icon also doesn't help. This has been an issue since I updated a couple weeks back and I'd rather not reset the headset again however currently I can't access it through USB cable. My PC also doesn't seem to make a sound when I plug it in.
