Meta store does not deliver to my shipping address
I just went through a bunch of hoops to order a Quest 3S with a $50 discount through my Xbox Game Pass app. My order was confirmed and I went on with my work day, until half an hour later I received a cancellation email with these reasons provided: "We're reaching out to inform you that your order has been canceled. Some possible cancellation reasons include: We're not currently delivering devices to your shipping address." Now I am spending another hour with Meta support chat and being told to check with my credit card issuer, my Xbox app account support team, to see if the promotion has been redeemed, etc., etc. Why does it need to take 3-4 h of a customer's valuable time to order a single item from the store and fix all potential issues? It would be great if they flagged the address (a PO Box) before submitting and or confirming the order. When using Oculus Link I used to be able to double tap the side of the headset to get out of "Link" and access the native Quest menu, which is very useful when you want to quickly change your boundary or adjust the brightness. Now for the last few weeks (I think since v81 ?) I can't to that anymore : If I double tap the headset it activates passthrough and I only get a popup to return to the Link app. Is there another way to access the Quest settings without completely quitting Link ? Hi, my Meta Quest 3S is having some issues. My headset won't shut off, even when I try to force shut it down. My controllers will connect for a second and then immediately disconnect, even after replacing the batteries. Out of nowhere my Quest 3 stopped letting me resize 2D windows for off-platform apps (sideloaded/unknown sources). Examples affected: Microsoft 365, AnyDesk, Firefox. Windows are stuck at a fixed size and no resize handle appears on edges or corners. When using the Stationary Boundary on Meta Quest, every time I step outside the boundary, a message pops up asking: “Do you want to move the boundary here?” I’d like to keep the stationary boundary active, but remove or disable that pop-up question. This is for an art installation, where I need to freely move in and out of the boundary using passthrough without interruptions or warnings. Hello, I plugged my Quest 3 in last night to use it today. I always shut down after using it. The glasses were very hot to the touch. The USB boot screen was on strangely, so I toggled down to restart. There was some software update that happened and then my main screen came up with a low battery warning. Also, the boot screen information was burned into my left eye's screen. The controllers then updated. I powered it off and plugged it back in. I waited a few minutes and restarted. I've been having the same issue for the past 2-3 weeks. My mic audio gets recorded, and not my game audio at all. Today when I tried to record again, I only heard the record sound indicator in the replay, but no game audio. I tried the same troubleshooting steps, along with a factory reset, but it doesn't work. I contacted Meta about this and they were only able to tell me to factory reset the headset, and no further fixes from them (such as making a headset software update.) It's getting incredibly annoying, plus the fact that I'm a part time VR content creator makes this even worse to deal with. My Quest 3 was working fine until a couple of days ago and I use it almost daily. On trying to turn it on yesterday I am now stuck in with the following: I see a stack Meta Horizon OS logo for a couple of seconds I see the chip icon with arrow and a green progress bar which completes I see an animated spinning Meta Horizon OS logo for maybe 30-60 seconds The screens go black, they are still powered on but not showing anything. It never gets any further than that. I have tried the following, none of them changes anything: Doing a hard reboot Doing a factory reset Doing a sideload of the most recent v79 update via USB, this downloads and installs fine giving no errors but the issue is still there afterwards.
