My account has been restricted from buying meta coins and games since MAY 23.
I have reach out to support and keep getting the same repeated messages from different people saying sorry for any inconvenience we are still working on the problem. My account has been like this since May 23 and it's very hard and is taking away the experience to want to continue to be on this headset. PLEASE RESOLVE THIS TODAY!!!7Views0likes0CommentsOne piece body suit silhouette making texture darker.
Anyone else having an issue with the full body suit making the the uploaded texture darker ? Just as an example the photo below. It looks like a shadow is being cast which makes the texture dull and not what is being uploaded. Any fix for this?Solved49Views0likes6CommentsHow to lock camera orientation in a side-scroller setup (mouse + mobile drag input)
Hi, I’m building a world with a side-scrolling camera perspective, but I’m running into an issue with player input reorienting the camera. When testing on desktop, any mouse movement or drag rotates the camera away from the fixed side view. On mobile, dragging a finger across the screen similarly changes the camera’s yaw/orientation, instead of maintaining the intended locked profile. I’ve already tried: Using a Local camera attach script (setCameraModeAttach with a lateral offset and fixed rotation) Reapplying the attach on an interval to fight drift Adjusting input settings like Pan, Follow, and Third Person, but the camera still responds to user input What’s the best way to disable or remap mouse/touch rotation so the player’s perspective remains strictly locked in side view? Would this require modifying PlayerControls input mapping, or is there a supported method for locking orientation or redirecting input (e.g. binding mouse drag to jump) within mobile-compatible experiences? Any official documentation or working workflow examples would be appreciated! Thank you! 😊Solved55Views0likes2CommentsIs it possible to win the competition with games that were already published or created beforehand?
Hello everyone, I have a question about the last competition that Horizon Worlds held, Meta Horizon “Creator Competition: Mobile Genre Showdown - Reloaded.” I’ve been looking through people’s projects to decide which one to vote for, and I noticed that some of them were created before the competition even started. I’ve even seen some partners who have submitted games that they had already made or started beforehand, which I don’t quite understand, especially considering they’re partners. I’d like to know if it was allowed to submit games that we had already started before the competition was launched? I assume that shouldn’t be allowed, but since I’ve seen Partners and Members submit games that were created months earlier, I need to know if those games are still eligible to win prizes. If not, I hope the Meta team takes a look into it.Solved125Views1like2CommentsPayout shows “Not Set” + Error message “Please try again later”
Hey everyone, I have a question regarding the payout in the Creator / Developer Program. Since September, my payout status has been showing “Not Set,” even though it was mentioned that payments would go out by the end of October. Every time I try to update or verify my payment or tax information, I only get the message “Please try again later.” I’ve read in the forum that we’re supposed to update our details every month, but right now it’s not even possible for me to do so. Also the Tax Document? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue or knows how to fix this, so the payout can finally go through? Thanks so much for any help! I have an ambitious space-themed treasure hunt game, Galactic Treasure Hunt, that was somewhat popular in June and July (around 10 players per day). I had ideas for how to improve it but then within the space of a week in August, visitors dropped to about 2 a week in mid-August and this has not recovered since. The most probable theory I have is that some algorithm changed somewhere in Horizon Worlds and the game is no longer being promoted. As can be imagined, this was hugely discouraging for me and I abandoned my plans to further develop the world. What do people think? Is there some other explanation for the drastic decline? It is not a perfect game, of course, which is why I had plans to improve it. But I think that it should be doing better than it is. And in July it was. Hello, I was recently accepted as a Horizon Creator. I've since created 62 pieces of clothing to wear/sell, I discovered that I can no longer wear 14 specific items when I went to wear a particular piece of clothing. I've tried clearing App cache/uninstalling & reinstalling the App/factory resetting my headset/changing the clothing on the Meta Mobile App(none of which have fixed it). I've deleted them from my Item Inventory(to find out that I can't wear them again when remaking them, I can't manually erase them Worlds Desktop Editor either). I still see the items I've deleted in my Avatar's Closet, Is there a way to permanently erase them from my account? Or have a Meta Staff Member manually take them off my account? So I can't view/select those specific 14 items that are corrupted.Solved65Views0likes4CommentsRight Hand Controller Operation
I've been told that Horizon is aware of this, but I thought I would try to confirm this on the discussion board. It's been over a month now, and so far, no build updates have fixed this issue. I enter a world to start building and leave from the player's perspective, and enter build mode. When I return to player vision, my right controller no longer has the capability to rotate right or left. I've been in the world with other collaborators, and they are NOT experiencing this issue.Solved37Views0likes2Comments
