Issue With Horizon World Becoming Permanently Members-Only
Hello, I’m a new Horizon Worlds creator and I’m having an issue with one of my worlds unexpectedly becoming permanently “Members Only.” The world was originally published normally and I was actively building and pricing commerce items inside it. I was also able to invite people to the world successfully. For several days, the toggle that controls whether the world is publicly searchable appeared grayed out and unavailable. Today, I was adjusting visibility settings and briefly saw the toggle become available. I enabled public/searchable visibility, but when I attempted to publish again, the world suddenly switched itself to “Members Only.” The interface now says the world is hidden and can never be published again. I did not intentionally convert the world into a permanently hidden members-only world, and I’m trying to understand: whether this behavior was intentional, whether the world can be restored to a publishable/public state, and whether this may have been caused by a bug or incorrect setting transition. I was able to clone the world, but unfortunately all commerce item pricing/linkage data was lost in the process, which represents a large amount of work. I also want to mention that I previously received several automated item restrictions on clothing items, but almost all appeals were approved successfully. I do not know whether those events are related to the world visibility issue. Could someone please clarify: Why the searchable/public toggle was unavailable for several days, Why the world switched to Members Only unexpectedly, Whether the original world can be restored to a normal publishable state, And whether commerce linkage/pricing data can be recovered or transferred. Thank you for your help.53Views0likes1CommentItem insight sales
Is this updated in real time? Or does it take a while to update? My sales are showing as 0(zero) on the dashboard I've been making and publishing avatar items and sold some clothing items to a user that requested some to be made I know they have bought some items because I've sent them wear the items. Apologies if this is an open discussion elsewhere. I couldn't find an answer so thought I would ask Thank youSolved129Views0likes1CommentIs that normal???
HELP! i have been creating clothing since December and was well over the 100.00 threshold mark and am now at 1K$$. Meta has not paide me yet for sold clothing. I clicked on support link and i recieved a message via a legitimate looking email suposedly from a "Brock" that requested social security number and 5 months worth of bank statements in order to get paid. Is this normal? In thr beginning of the discussion i did give up my bank account and routing number (supposedly for them to verify) but none of the other requested info. is THIS NORMAL? OR HAVE I BEEN Hacked? and where/who do i go to to fix this and to get paid? My store is Crystal Haven Gem and Mineral Boutique RaidergirlSolved124Views0likes1CommentWhats your problem?
Hey creator forum reader! I’m doing some research and could use your help. I make educational horizon creator content on YT, but before working on something new, I want to hear where people actually struggle, so I know I’m helping solve the right problems. I’m looking to have 10 conversations with creators, specifically anyone who has dabbled as a world creator, but for whatever reason still hasn’t published their world. OR Anyone who HAS published, but is still yet to reach their 1st 1,000 visits. Who am I: My name is Mitch. I’ve been working in the VR industry for nearly a decade, from Oculus sales floor rep to working with the dev team on Meta Workrooms (RIP). I love VR and have made a living in this industry trail-blazed by Meta. Even up to where we are now taking on mobile gaming! Even though Meta Horizon Editor is still so early, I’ve already got a full years experience from fresh start to 1st world publish to 200,000+ impressions on my 1st world in 7 days. I want to help those a few steps behind me navigate the creator labyrinth faster than I did. If you fit the description above, or know anyone who does, please join my discord and I'll reach out: https://discord.gg/nRkM7bHCf9 If not then please disregard and best of luck on your creator journey 🎨 Godspeed.213Views1like5CommentsEU Meet up?
Hey, quick one for anyone EU based and feeling some GDC FOMO this week lol. The 1st weekend in April there’s a VR LAN event in Amsterdam which a close friend is running. I'll be speaking on stage about Meta horizon, and thought it would be a great excuse for an EU creator meet up! A couple MHCP partners have expressed interest so thought I would share here too. If you’re interested lmk and i'll sort you discounted tickets. http://vr-lan.com/ 3rd+4th April, Amsterdam, NL36Views0likes0Comments
