The speakers on Meta Glasses 2 are not working – I know the cause
Hi, after not using my Meta Ray-ban 2 Wayfarer 0298 for a while, I took them out of their case and updated the firmware. The speakers stopped working. I tried everything: restarting, hard reset, disconnecting, restarting my phone, re-pairing, but the glasses still behaved abnormally and occasionally the message "Speakers not working" popped up in the app. Then, by coincidence and a bit out of desperation, I restarted the glasses by holding down the shutter button while turning on the glasses and releasing the shutter button when the LED turned red. I left the glasses on the table and heard "battery ninety percent." I left the glasses on the table and tried to start Spotify. Suddenly, the glasses started playing. I assume that the new firmware is faulty and that the problem occurs when the user puts the glasses on their head. Is it realistic that someone will look into this? Good morning fellas, I bought the new Meta Rayban yesterday and I find them much better than the old ones I only have one problem, from the settings you can connect a Whatsapp account for messages etc etc, the problem is that I use Whatsapp business and it is not possible to connect them to this app. The assistance confirmed it to me and told me to write a post here with a request to the developers so that they can make this whatsapp business also connectable. It would be enough to give the choice once you click on “connect” between one or the other whatsapp in my opinion. I just got these brand new gen 2 meta glasses. I opened them today and only the right speaker plays audio. The left speaker is dead. I tried force restarting and unpairing but still nothing. I recently purchased the Ray Ban Gen 2. I love them, however. There is a list of things I do not like, The audio that comes out of the speaker rattles at a low frequency. It begins at 50% percent than stays like that, doesn't get worse because as you push for full volume, you seem to lose all the low end and focus more on the mid and upper range frequency. It actually sounds louder and fuller at 50% volume than it does at 100%. As for the bass, all you hear is a rattle from the low frequency. Even with voices. I do enjoy the stereo field you guys created. I can focus on song mixes at a low volume. If you guys can update the way the audio is being output with some kind of firmware that cleans up how the speakers receive the sound. That could fix that issue. I would also like to add that when you tell META to add information to the MEMORY section. Most of the time, it is mistaken for setting a REMINDER. That should be a problem that should be fixed, as well as META responding back to when it actually says that it has updated the memory with that information, but when you look back into the Settings and check in the Memory section, it is not updated. And if it is setting reminders, its not reminding me regardless of using other connected apps that would if i input that data. I would like for META AI app to be the main source of memory, documents, and reminders etc.. The average battery life for the glasses is 3-4 hours. They also seem to heat up easily when using Live AI for quite a bit of time. Anyways, awesome product! I recently purchased the Meta Display Glasses with the Neuro Band. I've set up both devices, but I can't control the Displays at all via the Neuro Band. I've tried to wake the Displays and/or use any of the gestures in order to control the Displays, but nothing works. I've tried everything including factory resetting both devices. Also, when I bring up the Display screen via the touch pad, the screen shows the symbol indicating that the Neuro Band is not connected. Does anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it? And/or does anyone have a contact number with Meta so I can speak to them regarding it? I haven't been able to find a contact number for Meta and when I try to complete a support ticket, the ticket even fails to submit. I've two pair of RayBan meta gen2 "Headliner + Wayfarer", and few days ago the Headliner start the issue and today also the Wayfarer. Each is connected to a different phone with different setups, but now both RayBan, when asked to play the just received WhatsApp voice message, they are muted, like they are playing a mute message... It never happened before, all the audio commands and speakers works good on other applications... We reset both glasses, reconnect, ans troubleshooting but nothing changes... Hello everyone! I have a RayBan Meta gen2 and a S24 FE. For a couple of days while i was conected to android auto, all the whatsapp audios were reproduced directly on my glasses, now they sound all around my car and it's kind of annoying. I’m experiencing a problem with both slow-motion and hyperlapse modes on my Meta smart glasses: When I say "Hey meta, start slow-mo" the glasses start recording, but the saved video plays back at standard speed, not slow motion. When I use hyperlapse, the final video is made up of stacked photos (which seems correct), but the playback is extremely choppy, like there’s no smoothing or post-processing applied. What I’ve already tried: Factory reset the glasses multiple times Reinstalled the Meta AI app several times Changed region/location and tested with a USA VPN (I’m based in Malta, EU) Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?
