Meta glasses changing voice on its own
So recently my meta glasses have been switching its voice setting without me prompting it. I’ll go to the voice settings and select the default voice, as it’s the only one I care for. When I ask meta for something it switches back to a different voice which I find extremely annoying. I’ve tried to update everything and it doesn’t seem to fix anything. Hi Early Access team, I’m currently enrolled in Early Access for Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer 016D. Screenshot attached showing active status as of June 2, 2026. My Early Access test unit [...] experienced total speaker failure in June 2026, ~18 months after purchase. Meta View app shows permanent “Speakers aren’t working” error. Screenshot attached. This disables: - Music playback - Phone calls - Alerts - Voice commands / “Hey Meta” I cannot test hands-free features like "Conversation focus" or Meta AI prompts that I’m enrolled to test as part of Early Access. Troubleshooting completed: 1. Factory reset via Meta View 2. Firmware reflash 3. Re-pair to new phone 4. Case reset Issue persists. This is a hardware failure, not software. Meta Support denied warranty service due to 18 month age. There is no out-of-warranty repair program. This speaker failure is a known Gen 1 defect documented by multiple Early Access users. Meta redesigned the speakers in Gen 2 to address this. As an active Early Access tester, I can no longer provide feedback or test features with failed hardware. For the past couple months I had been using Quick Connect to send photos to WhatsApp using the touchpad. It was very convenient not always having to talk to send pictures. I tried using it today and the feature was just gone? I haven’t found any documentation saying that this was removed so is it an issue on my end? I understand that some features are rolled out randomly but I’ve never heard of features being taken away. [HELP] Can't reconnect Spotify on Meta Ray-Ban after factory reset – Connect button doesn't open Spotify auth screen Hi, I'm having an issue reconnecting Spotify to my Meta Ray-Ban after a factory reset. Here's the full timeline: **Timeline:** 1. **First setup** – Connected Spotify successfully, everything worked fine 2. **Factory reset** – Lent the glasses to my sister after resetting 3. **Factory reset again** – Got the glasses back and did another factory reset for my own use. Now Spotify no longer works **Current symptoms:** - When I say "Play music on Spotify," the glasses respond: "I can't do that on your glasses" - In the Meta AI app, when I tap "Connect Spotify", it does NOT redirect to the Spotify authentication screen at all (it did redirect during the very first setup) - Despite no auth screen appearing, the app shows Spotify as "Connected" immediately after tapping the button — as if the connection succeeded, but it clearly hasn't - The connection simply does nothing — no OAuth screen, no error message **What I've tried:** - Disconnected Spotify from Meta AI app (Device settings → Connected apps) - Disconnected Spotify from Instagram (Settings → Apps and media) - Revoked all Meta/Instagram access at https://www.spotify.com/account/apps/ - Cleared Spotify cache on iPhone - Logged out and back into Spotify **My setup:** - Meta Ray-Ban (Gen 2) - iPhone - Spotify Premium The fact that the app shows "Connected" without even opening the auth screen suggests a broken/cached connection state is stuck somewhere on Meta's backend. My Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses Wayfarer is not turning on. There is no power light blinking, although the charging case has power while charging. How can I solve this problem in Nepal? It seems Meta Ray-Ban Display won't delete photos and videos I took after importing them into my phone like the other non-display models do. I can still see the media in the Photos app of the glasses themselves. I need to delete them one by one in the glasses, which takes a lot of time and effort. Is there any way to empty the space with just a few clicks or delete them in a selected group? I setup my Ray-Ban Wayfarer Gen 2 glasses with my iPhone and I am stuck on the Phone setup. I have the meta AI app on an iphone and just paired my meta wayfarer glasses. I was able to setup everything except in the communication section of the app, there's the "phone" section, when I click on "connect" under the Phone setting, it says "set up messaging". I opened my phone Settings and tapped on Bluetooth, I turned on "Show message notifications" and "Sync Contacts" like it asked me to. I then retuned to the meta AI app and clicked continue. It just pops up and says "turn on bluetooth settings" again. I tried unpairing and re-pairing but the same issue is happening. I just got these brand new gen 2 meta glasses. I opened them today and only the right speaker plays audio. The left speaker is dead. I tried force restarting and unpairing but still nothing.
