We are developing an app for quest in Unity engine that needs constant internet connection. But when running the app in quest, internet connection is not detected even though quest is connected to a wifi network. "Internet Connection - Required" is enabled in Unity player settings. Are there any other settings that we are missing out?730Views0likes0CommentsCan you publish a free app on Oculus Quest?
Hi, We are doing an artistic/historical virtual experience on Oculus Quest. The project is already funded by severals govvermental grants, and it will be presented to the public in april 2020. So far, we plan to install it on Oculus Quest as 'Sideloaded app', but I wonder if it's possible to submit it to the store, for free? I'm doing a document to pitch the project, but I'm not sure if it will be accepted whatever the graphic quality of the app, because it targets a really particuliar part of Quebec City history. It will this way be displayed in the Home page of Oculus Quest, and can reach a larger public.638Views0likes1CommentHas sideloading method changed for Quest?
After using 'adb install -r xxxx.apk', I used to drag the .obb file into my game's folder on the Quest's obb directory. But now there is no folder there for my game. I tried creating one, but the game never launches when I do that. EDIT: ah, nevermind I got it working. There's an 'obb' folder and then an Android/obb folder. Also, even after copying my new obb to the right folder, the game won't launch until I restart the Quest... Is there any way to delete questions from the forums?879Views0likes0CommentsCan't push build to Quest through ADB
I'm having a lot of trouble pushing a build to my quest through the ADB cli. It works on one laptop I have but not another. The error I get says something about vendor keys not being set and the quest shows up as "Unauthorized" when I run "adb devices". I'm assuming from reading this thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/bux8ki/my_oculus_quest_wont_authorize_adb/) that I should be getting a pop-up in the quest asking to trust the computer but I haven't seen any. I've tried all of the suggested solutions short of a factory reset, which I would rather avoid (internet speed where I am is not the best and it takes a while to update). I hoping there's some more concrete way of triggering the handshake between the quest and the computer.2.4KViews0likes4Comments
