Quest 3 PCVR with audio out to speaker array?
I'm looking at building a PCVR app for Quest 3 that outputs the app's audio to an array of 8 speakers. Does anyone know if this is possible? And if so, what options do I have to set it up? I'm looking to have the audio play such that it doesn't change as the user's head turns (so not spatial audio like in headset), but the audio is created from a certain speaker as if it actually occurred in that speaker's physical location.424Views0likes1CommentWhy my pc(spotify, discord) sound with link vanish when I start a game? Hi! I'm trying to use the internal headphones on the Oculus Quest 2 for the SteamVR. I tried to load Half Life: Alyx and using 100% on sound on both in-game aswell as the Oculus Virtual Audio Device. Also checked on the Oculus Quest 2 Home that the headphones is at 90% volume, but no sound. When I exit SteamVR and go into the Oculus Hub/Home, the sound works fine, and on every game. It's just that SteamVR and games from SteamVR doesn't work with the internal speakers / headphones. Please help!3.8KViews1like2CommentsFacebook Streaming No Mic

(compressed sounds)
Hey everyone, When I play some of the SteamVR games via Oculus Link, some of the louder sounds feel "compressed" or distorted (gunshots/explosions/similar), as if they have low bitrate. Anybody else encountered this issue? I can hear this both while using Quest built-in speakers as well as nice quality headphones plugged into the Quest. There is no such issue when I play games from Quest / Oculus store - it seems it applies only to SteamVR games (I've tried Superhot, The Lab, Saints & Sinners). When I connect the headphones to my PC directly, the sound is totally fine in SteamVR, yet when I switch back to Quest as the playback device, the problem is back. Tried to tweak the settings here and there (in the Oculus app, in the SteamVR settings, in the Windows settings) - nothing seem to help. Thinking of buying a wireless headset just for SteamVR games it there is no solution :( Any ideas on possible fix? Much appreciated!3.5KViews0likes2CommentsAudio popping/crackling on my rift s
