The new quest ui is terrible
so the new ui just came out for meta quest and its the most annoying overly complicated ui i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with anyone know any way to reverse it or suggest they change it back or at least give us the option to choose berween the old and new one its extremly annoying i know along of people feel the same way i have to slide thru like 9 tabs to locate an app i used to be able to see on one easy to slide screen and trying to open the call im on is like a 25 step process vs just clicking on one button on my quick menu please reverse this or give us the option to choose between the 2 or customize it

Just because I wanted to help my child and briefly looked together into their Roblox account, Meta suddenly treats me like a minor trying to sneak into something. Yet my age has already been verified through my credit card — and legally so. The process is a bad joke Entered my credit card details four more times (29.04.26 / 01.05.26 / twice on 05.05.26) Four times a €0.00 transaction Zero times the promised €0.99 verification charge Uploaded my ID Result: Meta can’t even process a one‑cent transaction correctly Instead, I now receive threatening emails twice a day telling me my account will be suspended and I will lose my purchased games. So Meta can’t verify, but threatening customers works flawlessly. Important: Legal requirements are NOT the issue Meta likes to hide behind “legal obligations”. But here’s the point: There is no law that requires punishing parents for helping their children with an account. There is no regulation that demands re‑verifying an age that has already been legally verified. There is no rule that forces Meta to treat customers as if they were suspicious. Meta is the one enforcing this. Meta decides how strict, how excessive, and how detached from reality their own rules are. And Meta decides to patronize parents even though there is absolutely no legal necessity for it. This is not child protection. This is corporate arbitrariness. Meta interferes in family matters I am the legal guardian. I decide when I help my child. I decide which accounts I check. Meta places itself above this role and tries to control, patronize, and sanction parents — for completely harmless, legal actions. This is an intrusion into family privacy that is absolutely inappropriate in this form. Meta is welcome to introduce a button that parents can press to confirm that they are mentally incapable of applying common sense and therefore request Meta’s paternalistic supervision. My personal final straw If my account is suspended in three days, I will reach the point where I will make a clear statement. I will record a video in which I symbolically — or even with a sledgehammer — disable the Meta Quest 3 as a protest against this overreaching corporate policy. This video will be shared in forums and on social media so other parents can see how Meta treats paying customers. Not out of anger, but out of principle. A company that pretends to be a moral educator and treats parents like helpless children has no place in my home. And I will make it very clear to my kids why we will no longer buy any Meta products in the future. Best Regards

had quest since q1, charging port burned out, bought another Q1, it bricked, bought quest 2, it bricked, didnt care since it bricked around quest 3 release, bought a q3 and q3s those were stolen so nobodies fault there, bought a q3s immediately same day i got robbed, that just bricked today after 1 year and 2 months, customer service wants me to buy a refurbished one for 209.99 LOST A LONG TIME CUSTOMER. FIX THE BIGGEST ISSUE YOU HAVE.....BRICKING HEADSETS AFTER A MAX 2 years, thousands of dollars wasted in headsets, third party headstraps and batteries, controller straps and almost every game WASTE OF MONEY, cant find a place to leave a review but i got nothing but bad to say, dont get me wrong VR is amazing, but the fact they brick within 2 years even after taking care of them and keeping them clean and never banging them, nothing but issues, biggest issue is the gamble of spending 300-500 dollars on one just for it to fail after warranty expiresOculus Quest 2 usability
I just bought an Oculus Quest 2 from a thrift store, but am now second guessing. The pairing app shows two quest options to pair that are always grayed out, and nothing happens after that. Does this piece of hardware have any usability at this point? or is it now just a really cool pair of shades?
