Meta XR Audio SDK plugin Unreal 5.3 reverb
Did anybody get the MetaXRAudio plugin to work with the implemented reverb? I have followed the description here: https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unreal/meta-xr-audio-sdk-unreal-room-acoustics/ and did only get the spatialization to work properly. I am testing on unreal 5.3 with a blank project only with the Meta XR Audio enabled using regular Headphones. I havent found anything on the web so far. Any pointers or help are greatly appreciated.819Views1like0CommentsQuest TV is unable to use spatial audio focus effect when playing 360 videos
Since the update to version QUEST V54, QUEST TV has been unable to hear the focus effect. My production method is to create a 3rd audio file, then use the FB360 ENCODER, select the FB360 Matroska output format, enable the focus effect, and then export it to be played on QUEST 2 using QUEST TV. Is there any solution, or can anyone tell me which step might have gone wrong so I can check? Thank you all."769Views0likes0CommentsUnity: Oculus Spatializer still appears under settings after dll files have been deleted
Recently I have imported the new Meta XR Audio plugin into my project to use as the spatializer and tried to delete the old legacy Oculus Spatializer however Oculus Spatializer still appears under Project Settings > Audio > Spatializer Plugin after dll files have been deleted. Nothing is in the project that should be linked to it so I am confused as to why it is still showing.879Views0likes0CommentsBuild error when using visual scripting ("Effect OculusSpatializerReflection could not be found")
I have a test project in Unity and until now it's worked fine. But now I get the following error when I try to build it: Error building Player: Effect OculusSpatializerReflection could not be found. Check that the project contains the correct native audio plugin libraries and that the importer settings are set up correctly. I don't know why this would be occurring as I didn't touch the spatializer or audio setup. All I did was add a visual script on the CenterEyeAnchor to set the background color based on the distance between two objects. (The two objects are controlled by the eye tracking, one on each eye; I'm doing it to see how well the distance works as a Z axis.) Previously I didn't have any visual scripts in this project (or any custom scripts at all) so maybe that has something to do with it. I tried removing the visual script and that didn't fix it, but I'm still seeing the thing saying it's building the visual scripts, so maybe clearing out whatever is causing that would fix it? Still though, I'd like to be able to use visual scripting because I find it a lot more pleasant than code for experimentation purposes. I tried Googling the error message, but the only result I found is from someone who was trying to play a game and running into an unrelated issue (related to it being a pirated copy) and a similar message happened to appear in the log file they posted.1.9KViews0likes2CommentsOculus Go / Local videos with spatial audio
Hi! I have 2 questions... we develop 360 audio for different clients. Can we copy the video files directly on the Go device to play them? (360 video with spatial audio), or do we have necessarily to pass by some streamer like facebook or youtube? In case that the copy/paste is possible, is there a recommended app to play them? I hope you can answer. Thanks!3.2KViews0likes9Comments
