Search in Store does not show our App after Transition
Now that the AppLab to Store transition is finalized for all apps and our app was already transitioned some weeks ago, we still struggle to find it in the store via the specified keywords and words from the description. Only the exact app name works like it was before during AppLab days. Is this something we still have to wait for or did we forget to configure something?996Views4likes2CommentsCan't move build to store channel
Hi, I'm trying to upload a new build to the store channel of an app listing and I keep getting a very generic error message: Message GraphQL server responded with error 1675030: Error performing query. Error Code 1675030 Trace ID DcXFfdv1Op0 Any indication as to why or what this error message indicates?5.4KViews2likes11CommentsMy app already supports Go & Gear VR. Moving to Go only. What should users expect?
I'm not clear on what my Gear VR users should expect if I change my existing app to support only Go moving forward. We would do this because of upgrading the SDK suite / integration from version 1.41 or lower to 1.42 or higher within the Unity project. As Oculus no longer officially supports the platform, we need to follow suit at some point or be stuck with an old SDK for too long. This is okay, given our small population of Gear users. However, we'd like to let them know in advance what will happen, and I really don't know for certain from the information seen thus far. The official announcement only clarified perhaps the most obvious points (I can't post links yet, but it was November 7, 2019 "Gear VR App Development no Longer Supported From Oculus SDK Suite 1.42 and Future Versions"). The current build on our STORE channel is Gear compatible. At some point we would update with one produced with a newer SDK, which will not be Gear compatible (Go only). Has anyone else done this already? If so, what did your Gear users experience? If their last compatible build remained installed, could it still be restored if it got uninstalled at some point later? We are aware that a newer incompatible build is not supposed to appear in the Gear store. If another build channel were created to have all the Gear users as members, would it change the situation at all? Anything else noteworthy? We are looking for an official response as well, but it's good to have the answer clarified among the community.1.4KViews0likes2CommentsApp Lab published but it doesn't show on the store
Hi My game for Quest got approved and it says it's published already for a week. But when I go into the store and search for it "Dogfight Elite" nothing shows up. If I go directly to the game link: https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/3881629141886138/ It shows and says that the app is still on App Lab and basically in beta or review or whatever. How do I actually get the game out to the world? What else is needed?1KViews0likes0CommentsStore upload - "Platform abandonnned"
Hello, I'm trying to upload an apk to the store for the Quest but I'm always getting a message "Platform abandoned" (translated from French) : I tried to modify the manifest to get around that but no change in the signature seems to do the trick... Also, as an information in case of interest, my app is also referenced as for "mobile phone" but I don't know why it went this way (it is intended for the Quest), neither how to change that... Anyone knows what that means and what parameter I should change to get over that error ? Thanks for you help.2.1KViews0likes3CommentsTest User account revoking IAP is missing? Where did it go?
With a Test User account, we had the ability revoke IAP allowing us to properly test out the feature for our projects. This feature has since disappeared and for testing purpose, it feels like I need to reset my device with a new account if I want to test a fail state and a pass state. Is there a workaround to this?673Views0likes0Comments
