UK Keyboard layout for USB keyboard
So, I don't currently have a bluetooth keyboard. No problem I thought I've got a wireless small logitech keyboard with a USB reciever and an adapter. Which works really well... but I'm rather disappointed to find all the layouts for a phyisal keyboard seem to be US? Would it be that much to put UK options? Tried to screenshot the options but it blanked them out..
Some tiny features you guys (devs) should add
Hi devs of the oculus quest 2, I'm a big fan of the headset. Unforunatly, there are some ridiculus things that bothered me because they should be there but they're not. I'm just asking you developpers to add these little things that could make a big difference for me, and for a lots of other people too. First: I'm french but not from France, I'm french from Canada and our keyboard is not an azerty layout, it's a qwerty layout. so I'm asking for the canada community to add our language both english and french canada. Second: It's kinda obvious that the settings menu is missing a date and time adjustment option, please can you guys work on that. I don't want to factor reset AGAIN just to adjust the clock. Thank you if you read this message and take the time to work for these suggestion, it would mean the world for me, thanks again.
Oculus & type-1 diabetes
Not sure if this area is a proper place to offer development suggestions. If not, someone please guide me. I am very new to my Oculus 2 and this is my first post. I have had type-1 diabetes since 1985. I use a continuous glucose meter (CGM) to measure my blood sugar every 5-minutes, 24/7. It transmits this data to to my insulin pump using bluetooth, and displays the glucose value on a screen when I press a button on my pump. While using the Oculus 2, it is so immersive that you can't hear alarms or feel vibrations from the pump when it is warning that your blood sugar is entering dangerous low levels. Since I've had type-1 diabetes for nearly 37 years, I have lost the ability to sense my sugar level is going low until it is dangerously low. This CGM helps me a lot. It would be nice if the Oculus 2 could also capture this bluetooth signal and display my blood sugar on a corner of the visible screen. This would enable me to use the device safely.
