Issue With Horizon World Becoming Permanently Members-Only
Hello, I’m a new Horizon Worlds creator and I’m having an issue with one of my worlds unexpectedly becoming permanently “Members Only.” The world was originally published normally and I was actively building and pricing commerce items inside it. I was also able to invite people to the world successfully. For several days, the toggle that controls whether the world is publicly searchable appeared grayed out and unavailable. Today, I was adjusting visibility settings and briefly saw the toggle become available. I enabled public/searchable visibility, but when I attempted to publish again, the world suddenly switched itself to “Members Only.” The interface now says the world is hidden and can never be published again. I did not intentionally convert the world into a permanently hidden members-only world, and I’m trying to understand: whether this behavior was intentional, whether the world can be restored to a publishable/public state, and whether this may have been caused by a bug or incorrect setting transition. I was able to clone the world, but unfortunately all commerce item pricing/linkage data was lost in the process, which represents a large amount of work. I also want to mention that I previously received several automated item restrictions on clothing items, but almost all appeals were approved successfully. I do not know whether those events are related to the world visibility issue. Could someone please clarify: Why the searchable/public toggle was unavailable for several days, Why the world switched to Members Only unexpectedly, Whether the original world can be restored to a normal publishable state, And whether commerce linkage/pricing data can be recovered or transferred. Thank you for your help.56Views0likes1CommentCollab request for upcoming creator competition
Hey! I’m looking to team up with a strong Horizon Worlds coder in the community. I’m a game designer with ~10 years in games (VR focused), ex-Meta (3+ years, QA Lead, including time on the desktop editor), and the past 12 months full-time building in Horizon as a creator. I got MHCP partner status back in Dec 2025. What I bring: Game design (micro, mid and macro loop theory tested and implemented) Discovery + growth (300,000+ impressions on a single world) Thumbnail + iteration systems (I know how to get clicks and test properly) Game concepts, lore, and player experience Playtesting, feedback loops, and weekly event systems Art direction Overall production Where I’m weaker: My code quality is mid, I can get things working, but not clean, scalable, or robust. Who I’m looking for: Strong Horizon Worlds coder / engineer Can build clean, reliable, non-buggy systems Fast at prototyping Serious about competing Experimental mindset. Open to fast iterations to ‘see what works’. Wants a long-term collab, not a one-off (If trial project goes well) Goal: Pair up as a designer + engineer duo to win an upcoming Meta Horizon competition. Intention is to do a mini trial project first to test fit. If you’re strong technically but know your design / discovery isn’t there, then we’ll complement each other well. My latest work for an idea of my style: https://horizon.meta.com/world/10241323577005469 Was also featured in last months Mentor playtest here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxU-vI1ug2U If interested, comment here and we can move to DMs. Cheers!206Views1like4CommentsItem insight sales
Is this updated in real time? Or does it take a while to update? My sales are showing as 0(zero) on the dashboard I've been making and publishing avatar items and sold some clothing items to a user that requested some to be made I know they have bought some items because I've sent them wear the items. Apologies if this is an open discussion elsewhere. I couldn't find an answer so thought I would ask Thank youSolved129Views0likes1CommentUnable to load my world in desktop editor
Hi, I have a serious issue, I am trying to do updates on my world Witch Woods Hollow, but I cannot get it to load in the desktop editor. I am using Quest Link to open the desktop editor (the standalone version won't even open for months so had to resort to the quest link version) I get a repeated message: 'Navigation Failed: We were unable to take you to your destination' Please could someone help? I have tried reporting this, but not sure what I can do, if anything, in the meantime. Anyone have any fixes? I restarted the desktop editor, but have the same error message each time. I have also tried to access the world in edit mode using the headset editor and I get the same message. At a loss as what to do!211Views0likes5CommentsIs that normal???
HELP! i have been creating clothing since December and was well over the 100.00 threshold mark and am now at 1K$$. Meta has not paide me yet for sold clothing. I clicked on support link and i recieved a message via a legitimate looking email suposedly from a "Brock" that requested social security number and 5 months worth of bank statements in order to get paid. Is this normal? In thr beginning of the discussion i did give up my bank account and routing number (supposedly for them to verify) but none of the other requested info. is THIS NORMAL? OR HAVE I BEEN Hacked? and where/who do i go to to fix this and to get paid? Hi, For over a week at least (perhaps much longer), I have been getting an error message whenever I try to click to manage collaborators for my one world "ZOSU Zoo (Tower Update)" https://horizon.meta.com/world/10107112905467418/ Is there anyway to fix this? I need to update Moderators in my world and it appears I can only do this through the VR collage management options? Note that if I click into the collaborators button with this error and then click on the pink coin purchase option by my profile and then back out (to try to return to the collab screen) that instead of taking me back to this error it just shows a loading screen that never loads.
