Can I connect my Quest 3 controllers to my Quest 2?
I have Quest Pro Controllers that I have been using on my Quest 2 (Great!!) I purchased a Quest 3 and will be moving the Quest Pro Controllers to it. I would like/prefer to pair my Quest 3 Controllers to my Quest 2 Headset. Currently this is not an option to select in the App. Are there any plans to allow Quest 3 Controllers to work on a Quest 2 (similar to how the Pro Controllers work on Q2)? What would be the reason to not allow/support it? Thank You! MrTasselhof YouTube (MrTasselhof) Twitch (MrTasselhof)53KViews10likes19CommentsDevelopement Metaverse Controllers
I have developed a metaverse controller that simultaneously controls spatial computing devices like Quest and is compatible with controllers of all platforms, available in two types: portable and board. It features an innovative input method where touch confirms finger position and press executes functions, adapting virtual interfaces according to program requirements. With accuracy, versatility, and scalability, along with ergonomic design minimizing body movement, it will be the cornerstone of metaverse expansion, offering developers high productivity in virtual environments and users diverse content across platforms. Please email me at woogle554@naver.com, and I will send you the introduction video of the metaverse controller and two related patents. I use Unity and created a C sharp script to control first person camera movement using the Oculus Touch controllers. It works fine in my Rift (Unity and exe builds) but doesn't work in a scene I sideloaded into my Quest. It works in the Unity project from which I made the Android build for the Quest, but not in the Quest. It doesn't look like Oculus has changed the Touch input mapping (Button. One is still Button. One, etc.). Can anyone explain what's going on?1.6KViews0likes6Comments
