Update installed wrong or bug, fixable or not? (Or refund?)
I recently bought a gunstock. I play a game called ghosts of tabor specifically. When i try to grip the front of my gun with my left trigger, i can't. This is because my left hand is too much to the right. This is caused by an update installed wrong or just a bug that's causing it. I am on meta quest 2. Is this fixable, or do i have to get a whole new headset just for that problem? It is a tracking issue, but i'm just not sure. Any help?22Views0likes3CommentsQuest 3 Update Broke My emulated tracking and other problems as well.
Since the last update, I'm having major tracking issues. Estimation tracking is completely unusable. I keep getting a Link Not Working error and the error persists even after I turned off auto link. Hand and body tracking is now unreliable. Sometimes the main menu gets stuck while Im playing games forcing me to find the application that Im playing to close menu. This update is buggy and have some many softaware errors. I tried resetting boundaries and deleting boundary history as well. At some point I even factory reset just for it to break again. Please roll back your updates or fix the problems because I'm unfortunately not the only one.30Views0likes0Commentsupdate breaks quest 3 tracking
my quest 3 had good tracking before i updated it on Tuesday (nov-25) now i have a buggy device that cannot track even when i have my room light on. my warranty is expired and i have tried everything the support bot has given me and, when making a support ticket there is no option under headset regarding tracking. I am all for tips or tricks that i can do, and if someone can find a way to rollback to a previous update that doesn't require me to use the setting menu in the headset im all ears.187Views1like9CommentsIssue with height and view
Using Oculus Quest 2 64 GB At some point my Quest changed viewpoint. Im noticed it While im looking at my Meta avatar my eyes located right in the neck instead of head, the UI always appears on the much higher than it should. So when i look forward the avatar looks slightly to the top. This causes height problems in games on Quest and on PCVR. In the guardian floor position is correct, but the position of the head is incorrect, Quest doesn't seem to understand where its located vertically properly. So it makes me clip through the floor in some games and causes issues with Full Body tracking. Tried to reset guardian, clearing history, clearing surroundings history and etc, manually adjust height in settings, even tried to make floor lower than it is IRL. Nothing helps. Tried to update to v78 and factory reset, doesn’t help either. Also cleaned the tracking cameras. Also tried to change tracking frequency from auto to 50hz and 60hz no effect at all. Playing in other rooms with different floor material wont help either. Is this a hardware issue? Should i stop trying to fix this and just buy new one?161Views1like4Comments
