Single Pass Rendering not working with Quest 2 v56
Hi, After upgrading to v56, my app no longer worked. We found the issue was due to single pass rendering. We switched back to multi-pass and the app works again. However, we give up performance. I have a Developer's account "verified" with my ID and business name. I have developer's mode turned on, in the Quest app and the quest 2. Yet the "unknown sources" tab is gone after v56 installed and therefore I cannot test/run any non library software. My apps are installed because I can see it them in the files app. but no way of executing/running it. Has anyone solved this? How to turn on the "unknown sources" tab under the app library. Device : Meta Quest Pro device. version : v56 Pressing the power button on the headset to enter sleep mode. If you leave the headset idle without any input, it sometimes enters sleep mode. when I exit sleep mode by pressing the power button, there are intermittent issues with the controllers not being recognized. When the controllers aren't recognized, they continue to make slight movements even when I'm holding them still. [1] Disconnecting and reconnecting Wi-Fi sometimes results in the controllers being tracked and recognized again, but this doesn't always work. [2] Holding down the controller's menu button to power it off and then on again sometimes restores proper recognition, but this is not a consistent solution either. App records microphone input and sends it to a Speech To Text service. On the v55 Firmware this works fine with no issues. On headsets with the v56 Firmware, the microphone now provides nothing but garbled input (rushed and chopped up). I'm using the OVR Meta SDK and Vivox. Vivox is recording fine. Removing Vivox from the app still results in garbled input. Has anyone run into this? I can't imagine I'm the only one affected.Solved1.4KViews0likes1Comment
