A: You can join by private messaging @MetaQuestSupport by clicking on the "Send a Message" button on their profile and telling us more about yourself and why you think you’d be a great fit. Briefly answer questions like what is your experience in VR? How do you think you can contribute positively to the community? What is something you’ve done within the last 3 months in the forums that you are proud of? It doesn’t need to be an essay, but the more information you provide, the more it will help us to get to know who you are and if you are the right fit for our team.
What is the responsibility of an MVP?
A: As much as the Meta Quest MVP program can be a lot of fun, it can hold a lot of responsibilities to it as well. Anyone who is hand picked, must remember that they are a representative of the Meta brand. The qualities we look for in our MVP members are respect: respect for others and respect for Meta, both employees and the brand. Treat others with kindness at all times and make the community feel valued.
What are the benefits of being an MVP?
A: A Meta Quest MVP is recognized as one of our top contributors on the site. With this recognition comes some special benefits on the forums. These folks will be granted special permissions to move/edit posts much like a moderator would. Note, this does not mean they have all the features as an Admin would.
Their benefits would consist of extra visibility through special badges, weighted kudos and among other things.
What if I join and have to take a break?
A: We understand that life happens. All we ask is that you keep in contact with us if you feel you cannot keep up with the obligations laid out in the program. After 6 months, you are always welcome to reapply.
