'Invalid URL' error when typing website into store submission

Hi there, i'm currently uploading my game to the Meta Quest store (via the developer dashboard), and struggling to get it to accept my personal website.

Specifically I type in https://designedbyfaris.com/play and press Save Changes, where it says "this URL appears to be invalid". What check is being run here, other random websites I try work fine? Have tried various combinations of www, including a / at the end etc etc.

Any help appreciated, thanks

Hey there, thanks for reaching out about this. I've never personally uploaded a game to our store, but would love to try and help you out.

What URLs have you tried? In addition, could you maybe provide some screenshots of the upload process and the error message? It would help me understand your issue better! Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, thanks for the followup. I tried https://designedbyfaris.com/play with and without the www after https:// and I got "This URL appears to be invalid" error on that text field.

I fixed this by using my youtube channel instead and have since submitted (so can't get the screenshots anymore), here's hoping it doesn't get rejected based off this.

I'm experiencing this issue too.  I just received an email from Meta saying that my privacy policy URL is invalid and that if I don't fix it, my app will be removed from the store.  As far as I can tell, my privacy policy URL and website are valid, but when I try to save the changes, I get the errors shows in the attached picture.

Any help resolving this would be great, because I only have 1 week to fix it!Screenshot 2024-09-15 at 10.12.10.png
