Thank you all for your reports and your patience on this issue! In regards to developers being unable to enable Developer Mode in the Oculus app, a new update has been pushed to fix the issue. Please update your Oculus app to the latest version (as of the date of this post) and try enabling Developer Mode once more.
Update 11/8: The fix pushed to the latest App Update does not seem to have fixed the issue for all developers. At this time we are re-opening the issue and will update this post as well as this forum thread with any relevant details.
In the meantime, many of our awesome developers have shared that verifying using a Credit Card allowed the Developer Mode option to appear.
Update 11/15: We have received reports that this issue has been fixed for most developers experiencing this issue. Please log out and log back into your Oculus app and try enabling Developer Mode once more. Apperantly it is a problem when you use a phone number is to verifie your account, then it does not work, but people have been adding there credit card to virifie there account and then it worked, I still have to check for my self but if it works that way I'Il let you know
Not fixed yet, Is this a same problem? In Oculus quest i have developer option, but usb dialogue does not work. And Oculus app still showing that i am not verified or not in organization, but i am. ☹️
This afternoon I got my new debit card in the mail and added it to my account for verification on top of my phone number. Developer mode immediately became available in the oculus app, so this isn't really a bug, but a change in verification. I have both SMS and a card added.
Try adding your card even if your account is verified. Worked for me.
Yeah, I know but for some reason it has been solved on my phone after updating my pc app from oculus, now I finally managed to turn developers mode on, and I've some custom beatsaber maps to😂👌
