"Your computer does not meet the recommended system specification for Rift" "Your Radeon RX 580 Series graphics card doesn't meet our recommended specification"
The exact GPU model is Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8Gb.
Everything is green except the GPU. RX 580 (and even 480) is listed as recommended on the support site (https://support.oculus.com/326247701060681/). Why doesn't my card "meet the recommended specification"?
The RX 580 is supported. I believe the tool is just old and hasn't been updated. We can look into it, though. Can you please run the Compat Tool and choose Save Results, and then upload that file to this thread? Thanks.
I went form a 290x to RX580 and never checked the tool and everything kept working just fine so never thought to run it.
But hey I just ran it and now have 2 red marks for CPU and GPU rather than just the CPU before.
The short of it is, I don't care but agree it should be fixed as not everybody can see past it and know the RX580 is more powerful than the 290 it tells you to replace it with.
Hi, my Radeon RX 590 has the same error message, do you know when we can have an updated app for Rift so my PC can work normally? I can now play most of the games, but it did say this could lead to poor experience. And yet I can not play NVIDIA funhouse game as I haver a less than qualifying GPU. Thanks if you can have an update soon.
