Controller Stick Doesn't Work Properly

AndrewCim

I'm using an Oculus Quest 2 and the stick on the left controller has an issue. It keeps thinking that I am moving it backwards even when I'm not, and is very slow when I try to move it forward.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Not sure if this is your issue but this worked for me: Press down on the stick until it clicks then swirl it 360 degrees a few times. Worked for me.

how i fix it

Hey there! We know controller issues are pretty discouraging so we'd love to lend a hand!

In order to gain a bit more insight, could you please answer the following:

  1. When was this first noticed?
  2. Is this with one controller or both?
  3. What all have you tried already? (Just to not repeat any steps)

Along with this, could you try these couple of steps also:

  1. Remove the battery for roughly 10-15 minutes to let the electronics reset.
  2. Replace with new or known working batteries.
  3. Reboot your headset by holding the power button for roughly 30-45 seconds.

Looking forward to your update!
