ESC not working after connecting Meta Quest 2 to PC

i just connected my Oculas Quest 2 to my pc and ever since then my ESC key has not been working. this has never happened before and only started after i connected my VR to my pc. Also. In every game now its automatically useing the VRs microphone and speaker instead of my pc ones. please help me try to fix this

Hey @M1dN16ht !

 

We understand that you are having issues with your PC after connecting to Quest 2. We recommend you to try the below troubleshooting steps:

 

  1. Check the PC Oculus app settings to make sure your Rift / Rift S is selected as the audio source:
    • Open the Oculus app on your computer
    • Select Devices in the left menu and then click Rift / Rift S
    • Below Audio, check to make sure Rift / Rift S Headset is selected and that the audio slider is not muted, or set all the way to the left
  2. Check to make sure the sound of your computer is turned up and not set to 0
  3. Check to see if there’s any updates for your Rift / Rift S:
    • Open the Oculus app on your computer
    • Select Library in the left menu and then click Updates to check for updates
  4. Re-seat the Rift / Rift S cable
  5. [Rift] Re-seat headphones
  6. [Rift S] Re-seat the audio connector under the facial interface
  7. Try another USB 3.0 port
  8. Restart your computer
  9. Re-install Oculus Home application
  10. When the audio issue is affecting the headset and the PC audio, run the "Windows Audio Troubleshooter"
