Hi im new to the vr bit i got the quest. So my question is how can you tell if a game is compatible with my rig and how do you tell if you need a pc to use it
Games from the Quest store are for playing directly on your Quest, no PC needed. Games from the Rift store (or SteamVR) can be played on a PC (that meets the minimum requirements for Link) using your Quest and a USB cable.
When you buy a Quest game from the Oculus store, you may be entitled to the Rift version (and vice versa) if the game supports cross-buy. These are the Quest games that support cross-buy.
