The Oculus Go Browser has been crashing for 1.5 month and counting now. many complaints have been given but no solution, promises they do not keep, and empty comments from Facebook/Meta/Oculus. They made their headsets useless.
Many empty promises from oculus/facebook/meta of that they are working on it, they have holiday, busy with other items, it will be good this date oh sorry later date etc, they say that they made some update but will take much time to roll out (on forums comments from user that got an update that it is not working and that now more crashes after that)
we have not received any update, so they made the oculus go useless for 1.5 months and counting.
1.5 month and counting, maybe lasting an other month before we get a working 'update'.
why just not say we make the oculus go worthless so you must buy a new one, then at least Facebook/Oculus/Meta would be honest about this...

Hey Reiziger! We would first like to say thank you for being a part of our Oculus family. We understand that a handful of our Oculus Go members have been having an issue with their browsers.
We’ll continue to maintain the system software with bug fixes and security patches throughout 2022.
From reading your statements, it is very evident of your passion for our product and we would like to ask for a little bit more time and patience.
We are working very diligently to get every Go owner back into one hundred percent working order. Thank you again for being part of our Oculus Go community, and for helping to push the VR revolution forward with us.

Hey Oculus Support,
Thanks for your reaction, however many users and myself have a useless Oculus VR headset for 1.5 months, which in any world unacceptable. And no solutions or offerings have been made.
And the message of Oculus does not give any clarity when this problem will be solved for us.
So our request is to solve it within a week. Two possibilities 1) Oculus/Facebook/Meta solves the software problem in a week, or 2) Oculus Go users are offered a material discount on the new Quest 2 headset.
Then users can themself decide to wait or invest some extra to buy a new headset with a discount (which is likely the ultimate plan to push users to the Quest 2 which we understand)
But is is clear we cannot continue the path of not solving the problem for more than 1.5 months.
Look forward hearing from you asap.

now Saturday 12 February the Oculus Go browser is still not working (for already 1.5 months and counting) because oculus continues to fail to solve it
I brought back the headset to factory settings and removed the oculus app, then installed it. yes now they had an update for the browser/software .... But the UPDATE is NOT working either at this moment.
in the browser if you look at VR and do ok WebXR you hear sound but no vision (the circle continues forever).
