My oculus has been doing this since the 20th of june so my oculus was doing the normal start up and it stopped went black and started up again i didn't think much of until it kept doing it so i took it off put and put it to charge next day i tried to use it again but it kept doing the same thing so i texted my friend to see what i could do he said factory reset which i did i have tried everything holding down the power button pressing it Mulitipe times i just dont know what to do

Hey there! We're glad you reached out when you did! Your friend didn't mislead you, a factory reset could get you past this spot of bother. We'll take a look at that with you and see about getting that display sorted.

 

Your first step is going to be a hard reboot. To do that, just hold the power button down until it restarts.

 

If a hard reboot doesn't get you out of the weeds, a factory reset would be our next course of action. There's a few ways to make that happen, and they can all be found here.
