While in the Oculus dome or in an app, the 6DOF tracking suddenly freezes (basically becomes 3DOF), and after a few seconds (without any user action) you virtually jump a few meters and change facing direction, and 6DOF tracking is restored. While frozen and you move your body physically, you virtually stay in the same spot. Meanwhile, the controllers are working. This is when running with guardians disabled. With guardians enabled, I instead get the black Tracking lost screen. It seems to be a problem that has arised with recent Quest software version(s). All affected headsets run version 41. It may have been a problem already on version 40. Factory reset does not help. Clear Guardian History has no effect. Experienced all around the building and in different buildings, and is not affected by lighting. Even tried to supplement with an IR lamp. Cleaning lenses does not help. Both Quest 1 and 2 are affected. Anybody else experience stuff like this ?
