Hello, I've been attempting figure out how to set up my Quest 2 into steamVR to try and run the steam version of VRchat, but to no luck as even with air-connecting or proper USB C connecting, I'm always greeted with a black screen or the loading dots with nothing changing. I've tried setting the setting priority on the apps in the graphics menu, checking my driver, and other things, but I just can't bring myself to buy and try and figure out the virtual desktop, how can I possibly set up steamVR with my Quest 2 on this laptop?

Ok so it's not the laptop trust me I have the same one you there is 3 things that help to go to the task manager to find OVRServer_x64.exe right click it and set it to high priority 2nd thing disable and re-enable integrated graphics
and the last thing is to go to graphics settings in windows settings click the desktop button follow this path "C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\OVRServer_x64.exe" click on OVR server and make sure it's using ur dGPU. well thats all i know tell me if it works

Hey, I know it's been a while and I did evaluate my sitation, but turns out I did a few things. Updated my Nvidia and Radeon drivers, set the oculus app to the GPU in the nvidia control panel, and adjusted the resolution in debug for the time being.
After all that, it's FINALLY working, just that I'm looking for recommended resolution/specs for my laptop since upon my initial testing, it had a pretty concerning heat-spike alongside some scuffed FPS in the headset. If you have any suggestions, lmk
