Quest 2 not pairing after factory reset

Hey, I had to factory reset my headset because of some things and now its not pairing like my Bluetooth, Internet and everything is fine. My headset just doesn't pair anymore, I tried all the methods i could. Nothing worked.

Make sure your network is broadcasting 2.4ghz and not dualing 2.4/5ghz

Would try it but my laptop doesnt have bluetooth and my network is broadcasting 2.4ghz

Laptop without bluetooth? Brutal.

Could try with a cable, though. I've had subscribers that confirm a cable was able to get the dev hub to fix the problem.

Does it work with the charger or is the original link cable needed?

USB 3.0 is your best bet.

We understand from your message that you are keep running into problems when you are trying to pair your headset.

 

If the option to do this with a cable and your laptop does do not help with connecting your device you can always have a look at the following steps to see if that is able to help you out.

  • Make sure the phone is compatible with the Meta Horizon mobile app
  • Ensure the mobile app and headset are on the latest available version
  • Ensure phone and headset are connected to the same network, on the same frequency
  • Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect communication (such as headset covers, etc.)
  • Clear the Bluetooth cache on your mobile device
  • Uninstall the Meta Horizon mobile app from your phone and reinstall the application
  • Power cycle the phone and the headset.
  • Try using a different phone.
