Hi ( alt account here since i can(t log on my main account),
I didn't have time to try logging on my headset yet, but i'm currently unable to log in the desktop app and the android app because I never receive the sms code. The end of the phone number ( the start is obfuscated ) showed in the form is matching mine, and i'm almost sure i already receiced 2fa sms from meta before.
Other services ( epic, google ) requiring 2fa via sms are working fine.
I went into meta account settings on my headset, and tried to change the number associated, since I'm from France I tried several format with and without regional code but none of them allowed me to click on the save button that stayed disabled.
BUT I was able to remove the phone number associated just like that, how come I'm able to remove a 2fa without further security ?
Next without 2fa I was able to log in easily (with my password only ) on the meta desktop app as well as the android app. From there I was able to reenter my phone number ( selected +33 country code, then my number without the starting 0 ). Phone number confirmation worked and 2fa seems to be working for now.
