Split screen recording issue on iPhone app

Having the same issues as in a previous post. Tried uninstalling app. Tried resetting headset. Still don’t have the split screen record option when casting on the app. Is this an issue with the iPhone 14????

Hey there, @bethfern.2022! We know how upsetting it can be when the casting function has issues and we'll be sure to provide troubleshooting steps that may help. Have you already attempted to restart your device as well as the headset?

 

You can reboot the headset by the following:

To restart your headset:

  1. With your headset on and powered on, press and hold the power button on the right side of your headset until you see the Power off screen.
  2. Select Restart. Your headset will turn off and then turn back on.

If you're unable to restart your headset:

  1. Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. This will manually turn off your headset.
  2. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Press and hold the power button until your headset turns back on.

Hi. Yes we’ve tried that. We don’t have a problem casting to the app. We just don’t have the option to split screen record on the app. This is only an issue on the iPhone 14

Are you using a third-party app to split screen record on your headset? What is your setup like? Also, were you successful on other devices?

We are only using the app to cast and record from the headset. We have the option to record the player and the oculus screen at the same time, through the iPhone app on all iPhones apart from the iPhone 14. Someone else has posted about this exact issue on the forum already
