So I was playing a sweat inducing game (Blade and Socercy) and I'm pretty sure I short circuited the headset because I believe my sweat got into the display port on the headset. Is there anything I could do to try to save it or get a new one or am I SOL. thanks

Maybe take the faceplate off, disconnect the cable, and put your headset in a large plastic bag with a cup or two of uncooked rice.  Leave it overnight and try again.  You should also try to clean up the headset cable with some contact cleaner.  Good luck mate and cheers.

Thank you my guy I'll give it a shot if it doesn't work then I'll start looking for a new set 😉

That really sounds like a very high-quality product if it can't even sustain sweating lol. I guess I really should go for the Valve Index or HTC Vice.

@Kaje97  Don't think that this isn't also a well known problem with Index and Vive headsets.  No current headset is waterproof, lol!
