Since the beginning I have had problems with the Rift s, and when I want to use it it does not work, I have to restart my computer a hundred times and reinstall the software. However, once it is up and running, I play for a few minutes and the screen goes black - this happens frequently. What I was wondering now, could it be because I have a too weak power supply? My hardware:16 gb of ramgeforce 1080ti strixi7 6700kand about 6 tb memory
500W Power supply
If anyone has an idea if this is the problem, please let me know.

Please don't listen to people here, it's not your psu, the black screen problem is widespread and at the moment there's no fix, look around...there are tons of people with the same issue.

My computer is supposed to have a 330w PSU for a GTX1070, I am using it with just a 230W PSU. So I agree with you, provided its a ITX graphics card.
